It’s crazy how much damage your deflects do. I’m betting you went into the precise deflect skill tree which makes this even more impressive because you’re working with even less deflect frames. Impressive stuff!
It’s actually not too different. I was running the reckless deflects and switched half way thru. The difference in timings is minuscule. You’re better off running more deflect damage

@@whyareyouhere6274 Because if you have any criticism about a souls game, especially ER then people will come out to harass you and tell you your criticism isn’t valid because you’re just not good at the game, which is ridiculous. The souls community does have some toxic elements to it when ANY criticism is shot down because you’re just not good enough. I get it because people are passionate about souls games, so am I, and they don’t want people criticizing their game. I just find a certain style of combat to be more fun than another style. I like sekiro-like combat where it’s a back and forth dance, i’m not so much a fan of Elden Ring’s combat when it comes to some of the bosses. I still love Elden Ring though

One of the things that I loved about Sekiro was human size bosses like Genichiro and Isshin, these fights were among the best things in videogaming. Here we also have cool setting and excellent music

After this video i start to play and completed it. This boss honestly is the hardest of all since i didn't use claws, my build was crap lol, i just RB and parry spam him. Honestly this game fighting system is fucking awesome. It's a shame that this game is very small. I think after you complete it, you could speedrun it in like 30 minutes easily with your skill lvl. And great vid as always.)
Hazama decided to lead a circus troope after the events of Central Fiction and the reset, came upon Ashina, learned Isshin's style and is now pursuing further evolution. Makes sense.
It's hard to appreciate what an insane amount of skill this takes if you never tried this game and only know Sekiro. The parry timings in this game are INSANELY tight, and there are no "partial" parries, you either get the deflect or you are screwed.

Looking forward to seeing the end boss no damage fight. Guy was incredibly annoying, mostly died due to the bloody lock on forcing me into more attacks. Gauntlet attacks where such a pain to parry. Does not help having longer parry window talents, lengthens the cooldown till next parry when a flurry is incoming, so that can force extra damage. (What i noticed anyway, mainly dodged more than i parried)
I'm really loving this game, excellent combat system, its superb. Just beat Odur in far less glorious fashion for my own series. With a limited budget, this indie team have made smart choices doubling down on the combat experience, great stuff 😎👌
this game is actually really hype af. this is the first proper boss so I was still getting used to the game but something just clicked and on my successful attempt I no hit the first phase
Never seen, nor even heard of this game before. I only clicked on the video because of who uploaded it. Honestly, I’m more surprised that I hadn’t considered the possibility of Sekiro-alikes until now. Nifty.
It just came out yesterday. I bought it yesterday and finished it. Relatively short (7-ish hours to complete) but really enjoyed the entire game. Definitely recommend. On sale on steam for 10% off (normally $25 but 22.49 atm) worth it imo.
More interesting boss than Varg, who was basically just an armored hulk with a big sword, didn't look like attacks had much impact (probably due to being an armored hulk with a big sword). This one's a more creative design (though it's hard to shake the Marvelous Chester resemblances) and reacts to being hit. And has some neat magician stuff? (the room blackout I presume is him) Big step up!
I'm enjoying the game, though I still don't quite understand the reaving plague weapons yet. Anyway, great vid, I'm still working my way through the sea of trees level.
As someone who beat the game, this is unironically the hardest boss for me. Even the final boss didn't give me as much trouble. I guess it's because I was still learning the game.
Twilight circus ringmaster odur is a nice change of pace going into the fight I felt like I was going to steam roll him then The fight started Got my ass handed to me for 3 hours straight untill I learned how to Parry him And I have to say his theme is such a banger
The regular deflect window is a bit tighter than Sekiros, but there's a skill tree in wich you can wide it a bit more. I'm going with that and can consistently deflect most attacks.
You have health, which you deal damage with light attack. Then u have wounds, which is the green bar, you can damage it with heavy attack. U can only do wound damage if you took away some health first. Health will also regenerate if u don't attack for a while
These videos are perfect for trying to understand the movesets and parry timings. Definitely a big help when trying to beat the sekiro boss gauntlets

I yelled 'Isshin?' when I saw his ashina cross. This game is so good if you got a little burnt out of playing sekiro. Hope it was a bit longer

This guy is less Marvelous Chester and more Marvelous Isshin, the way he attacks.
Blessed me playing this on PS+ Very nice game. If they game some money to the developers, I imagine a high quality game for sure

Definitely needs some patches as I have seen a lot of short freezes and already a game crash but the price was nice so no big deal

Feels noticeably slower than Sekiro, and gives you quite a bit of room for your charged punish.

the only thing i wish they added was punish moves. cus after 2-3 fights with him, you remember all 3 of his combos plus him throwing his cards.

It's not as smooth as Sekiro, but not bad overall. This is an indie game after all.
