Hi Paul, I got one of these plates about a month ago it was a very smooth process to install it, but one thing that I notice on your video is I did not have to hit the button to change the message on the bottom of it the only time I had to hit the button twice is when I had to sync the Bluetooth. But the crazy thing happen someone ran into the back of my car, and it crushed my plate so I had to contact Reviver to get a new plate it went pretty smooth I had to send them a police report and send them old plate and they transferred my info to the new plate so hopefully you never have to do this but it's all good now and this is a good video.
I think my plate will not connect to my Bluetooth on my phone. I think it's an issue with my Kyocera phone. It's a similar issues with a a few other apps.
I did reset my phone back to factory specs a week ago, I should try it again.
I did a test. Once I got confirmation that one of the updates I did was ready to send to the RPlate, powered off my phone twice which means that it updated via the LTE antenna built inside me plate.

Maybe three days ago I opened up the reviver up on my phone I requested three personal banners for approval, all three came back. I made a short video on that. I'm surprised how quick it was approved.

Reviver says 5 to 7 years, it is replaceable and they will send one out.

Yes you can, you can submit a request through the REVIVER app. When I requested mine it came back approved very quickly, I think it was the next day, I can't remember off hand.

Great video. Thanks. So how does the monthly plans work? On the website, I saw there are 3 service plans. What’s that about?
When I purchased my RPlate last year, my plan says I make 4 equal payments of $165.00 once a year and that includes the $55.00 a year app fee for the RPlate then I will own the plate after that. I will then have to pay a yearly fee of $55.00 on the anniversary of it's purchase
I guess they changed it up a little bit, you can pay $35.00 a year but you will have to pay a $39.00 processing fee to renew your tags or you can pay the $75.00 a year fee and it covers the renewal processing fee and will cover the cost of a new battery when it fails plus you will be able to do a CUSTOM banner 12 times a year for CALIFORNIA only.

No they do not offer one for the front yet, I was told they were working on one.
You will need to keep your original plate on the front if you want, my Pontiac trans Am and never had one on the front never had any issues. But on the front of my Silverado I did decide to keep the front legacy plates attached.
I was also told they're working on one for motorcycles so I hope both of those will be out soon.

Yes no matter what style metal plate you have you can toggle between the black and the white.
After checking out plates while driving around I realized all the different styles that are out there.
So if you have a squiggly California that's how it will appear, also if you have a disability plate that will also appear on the digital license plate. I believe it's the same for the environmental.
There's a $40 one-time fee for the legacy plate, but I pay $40 a year for the personalized portion.

Been looking at Reviver the past couple weeks as I am planning to purchase a new Jaguar F-Type sports car next weekend and that the digital plate would be nice to have in case if it ever got stolen etc.

@@HowtowithPaulHenderson Thanks but I already got the Reviver Plate. I bought a brand new 2023 Jaguar F-Type 4 weeks ago for my birthday and the dealer had the Reviver plate so I was able to purchase it without the monthly lease payments.

Is this car plate only for California , or can it be use for other states?
It is US DMV approved for all US roads; it's just not sold in every state, you will need to punch in your state on their website to see if yours is on the list.

Thanks, My tags will be do soon. I am going to film a video from the time I pay the bill through the app and have a timer running to see how long it take for the approval to come back and say it's ready to transmit the tags to the plate. I don't think it took long on the last renewal.

No front plate as of yet also a motorcycle plate might be coming out to.

Sorry , my question is , In California are you still required to have a front plate by law with a rear digital plate ? Reviver will not sell a front digital plate due to rock damage that might occur . THANKS
I did call them a few months ago and I was told that they are looking into designing a front plate that only displays numbers and letters. Yes in California a front plate is required but it's not really enforced unless you do something stupid and get pulled over....
