I knew korea was famous for noodles and always wanted to try it. I did get the chance to taste it when I found one of those noodles shown. It was jjang flavor, thinking that it will be moderate spiciness, I tried it. But my goodness, it was too much to handle. But rightly said, we can concentrate only on the spiciness, completely putting our other stressful things aside.
I went to a Thai restaurant one time and the waitress asked me how spicy do I want my food from 1 (least spicy) to 10 (most spicy) and I said 0.5 because level 1 is too spicy for me. 🤣😂
@Ted G then you haven’t tried Thai food properly haha! There are a lot of very spicy dishes without coconut milk. Restaurants tend to make everything sweeter so that people who aren’t used to eating spicy can eat it as well. Thailand is actually known as the country with the spiciest food

I love love spicy food. When it comes to Korean food Jjamppong (짬뽕) is my favorite. The owner at my favorite restaurant asked how spicy I wanted them one day and I said as spicy as you want to make them. Her and the chef watched as I ate. They made them so spicy that I had tears running down my face, but I couldn't stop because they tasted soooooo good! The best I have ever had.
I love spicy food! But it has to be a level that’s tolerable so you get the kick but don’t end up at the hospital lol I always have to restrain myself when cooking for others 😅😂 I rarely meet people who can handle the same level if spice as me (tho I’m sure there are looots of people with higher tolerance than me out there).
I think it is a different type of spice, Jalapeño pepers, red peper of for example wasabi is not the same spice. If you eat red pepper is more longer spicyness, wasabi however is only extreme short.
It looks so good but if I taste a little bit I will have to run from my house to Antarctica bc I can't even tolerate spicy food at all (only about 2.5% I can tolerate)
When I was in Korea with my father In law. He was ordering randoms foods. So I was eating some of all. And they were shocked as one of them is apparently crazy spicy however I did not mind it at all. I can eat lots of spicy peppers without any issues. However if I eat only a tiny peace of Jalapeño pepper I am dying..
