- Storm Boris is battering the north-east and central regions of Italy, days after causing widespread flooding in central Europe.
More than 1,000 residents in the north-eastern region of Emilia Romagna have been evacuated, while towns in the central region of Marche reported serious flooding and disruption.
The European Union said it will provide €10bn (£8.4bn) to help affected countries.
Strong winds and rains which have swept across Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Austria, killing at least 23 people.

@@rangles1050 honestly I feel lucky af living in UK. My family in my hometown in the subcarpathian region tells me about the summers getting more and more warm every year. Like yeah climate changes on its own but nit like this, not that fast. Polish summers were always much warmer than the British ones, but now you've got 35, 36 degree days in summer becoming not that surprising - and while I recall as a child winters with the entire town covered in snow, im talking snow build up so high you struggles to open your doors and leave your home, meanwhile now you rarely see ANY snow at all during the winter- kinda like in UK.
