Thank you 😊 for doing this video. It was very informative and helpful for me .
I wouldn't have touched the DNS settings if I hadn't seen this video but now I've learnt something new about DNS settings.
Keep up the good work 👏.

There is also another setting you can change. You can find it in expert mode and then go to "Internet" > "DNS & DDNS". Over here you can setup DNS manually and that should affect the router's global settings.

If I come across one of those routers again I'll have to try it.

@@freename I always had one before having better internet. I also had the mini 3 modem cool days

No clue if you still have it or not but would be great to know if a Android phone using USB tethering works.

Don't have it any more but I suspect it won't work. Dongles often use the serial type control where as tethered android phones present as a USB network interface.

This is about a UK router with a UK internet provider. I also don't understand your question.

    It’s pronounced ROW(as in how)TER. NOT “ROOTER”.

UK would disagree. Your pronunciation is a method of woodworking

@@freename my pronunciation is the correct one. Yes, one can use the pronunciation to describe that wood working tool. But in THIS case, old mate in the video is using INCORRECT pronunciation for the product. Every other video I have seen states it CORRECTLY. ROW-TER.

Just because your country pronounces it that way does not make it the correct one. Also see Leisure (pronounced lesshure in UK).

@@freename I’m Australian. Brits can’t even speak English correctly 99% of the time and you all apparently “invented” the language.
