i have a friend who has had to go to therapy because her parents never showed other emotions besides the positive ones around her. so she never saw her parents mad, upset, or angry that growing up whenever she felt those emotions she thought that something was wrong with her so she picked up bad coping mechanism and other things to deal with it. moral of the story: life is about balance. i am
not saying kids should see there parents screaming or anything but they should see normal healthy interactions

I think that's what people need to understand - the difference between arguing and disagreeing. I don't have a child, neither married, not even in a relationship but I've already planned it out and offered it up to God. They would not be privy to all disagreements - as some things are just not for their ears - but yes certainly healthy for them to see a disagreement and see how it is resolved so that when they have one with their siblings they will follow. And IF there is an argument they would also see mummy and daddy apologising to each other (because the kids should learn that too).
The person who said that Jess connects more to Makaiah than Gabe... apart from the fact that she was in her and then there is breastfeeding... we don't actually see every second of every day of their lives.

Education and raising children to be fit for the real world, can look different to many, but a lot of the time in the US & AUS (where I am from) many parents take off time to teach kids fundamentals from math, English, art etc & also have programs that get sent in the mail each month to ensure children are learning to the curriculum & the right things. Personally iv seen most homeschoolers be way ahead there peers, but some not and really struggle socially. It works for some and not for others.
