Well, because of you I spent most of the afternoon cutting out circles and playing with my (considerable) stash of scraps! Not complaining, he,hee. I like my newly renovated lollipop flowers a lot better now so thanks! I share your love of flower making so keep those vids coming. Hugs from California.

Hello to a fellow kiwi. I know this video was made over a year ago, but I've only just come across it, so it's brand new to me. I am definitely going to do some of these. They are gorgeous! I've done other flowers, but I haven't done any of the ones where you singe the edges, so it should be fun, & hopefully I won't burn my fingers too much. I get enough of that with my hot glue gun lol. Thanks for this great tutorial. Going to subscribe to your channel.

Hey there...I really don't have the best answer for that, It has been a lot of trial and burnt fingers...synthetic fabrics are the best but some melt rather than curl and some of the satins end up having a hard edge. Chiffon looks great with these flowers ad other sheer fabrics but ya gotta be quick. It's all practice ;)...and burnt fingers...I have another tut coming up with no burning so stay tuned for that tfw Tasha
