I don’t have access for this type of pro therapy work however this confirms why my version of home lymphatic work is working. I’ve been hitting it pretty aggressively x2/day with a massager, dry brushing, then rebounding. Edema is going down , toxins coming out in stool, had nausea and flushing this morning so skipped my workout till that calms down.
I’m so grateful for therapies like this being taught by generous healers
as regular Medical Doctors have not been taught this therapeutic approach. My MD just said, “well you’re just a sweller, keep exercising and wearing compressions” I don’t blame her for not knowing but things so effective I’m doing at home (although time consuming) are already decreasing YEARS of edema. And I have exercised well & healthy weight my whole life.
So again thank you for teaching those of us who are studying non conventional ways to get to the root & heal.

I know this video is like 9 years old but its one of the best I've found. I wish there was a more in-depth tutorial.

Fpo Oat Thanks for the comment! This is a good point as Osteopathic hospitals in the 1918 epidemic did report a significantly lower mortality rate. However, their approach to treatment was different in ways other than OMT and I am not aware of reports of manipulation indication or contraindication based on fever from these case reports. There are studies showing positive outcome with OMT in patients with pneumonia but again I am not aware of reported temperatures in these patients. It is best that the decision be made on a case by case manner with all evidence in mind. In this video we are reporting the textbook contraindications for lymphatic treatment based on available data.

Why not for cancer? I thought it is recommended when swelling happens?
Also is it good in case of ascites in abdominal area? Thanks 🙏

Cancer is contraindicated because of the possibility of stimulating the cancer cells to travel to other parts of the body. Lymphatic drainage can be done on someone who’s lymph nodes have been removed due to cancer treatment and is now experiencing some level of lymphedema. I’m hospice, it can be done to alleviate the pain/discomfort of a terminal cancer patient.

Does the splenic pump have good efficacy for group A strep pharyngitis? I can imagine that it’s at least worth a try, assuming there’s no fever above 102F.

My Dr ordered a manual Lymphatic Drainage, so I was wondering what thaI is, I thought they are gonna drain some fluid from my bone...:) So I came to see this video but got totally mesmerized by that volunteer patient. That doc should have use some ordinary looking person so that it be easier to focus on what he is doing and not get distracted by that super hot volunteer patient/nurse...:)
    Just saying...:)

They didn’t teach me any of this in my class. Why is that? I’m regarding the pump openings . They taught me it as is one portion of the body at a time.
