When I bought my Lightweight Brompton, (the original folding bike), it had some tape which by only a few times use, had been worn through and had become useless! So I ordered some carbon shells like yours, to make it better, and they have functioned til now. I have also sown some leather on its frame, as up its stem post. Your colleague, Chris by bike, complains that if she washes her bike the leather will become vet, and I didn't think about that, but some plastic and tape may prevent that. Also it is possible to buy a leather using velcro.
Thank you Neville. I got mine at Jet Cycle along Changi. But they are easily available online(aliexpress, shopee, lazada etc) as well, might want to check it out. Cheers.
3:51 is what Brompton calls a Cable Fender Disc. It's not to protect your fork but your front brake cable, to prevent it from rubbing against the front wheel on Bromptons (or copies) that are not fitted with front mudguards. It is redundant for your bike.
I wouldn't be too bothered with the naming conventions but it's good info, thanks for that. Seems like in my case it found new purpose other than the intended use! Cool info though. Cheers.
@@fredphua I could care less about the naming convention. Just wanted to inform you what that part was designed for on Bromptons without fitted fenders (S-series). If you just want to prevent your fender from cable rub, a simple frame sticker would suffice. The original accessory from which this was copied is meant to hold the brake cable a distance away from the spinning front wheel, a much more important protection for the rider than to keep your front fork looking pristine..
Hey Francis, I got mine from Jet Cycle along changi. Google them and you'll find them. I think there are some pre cut ones available online, so there's no need for you to cut them. Save a step. Just suggesting, hope it helps. 😉
Hey Christopher, apologies. I no longer recall the exact sites I gotten them. But they are all easily available from major ecommerce platforms (aliexpress, lazada etc.).
Hey William, thank you for the compliment. I bought the saddle in Hello Bicycle near bugis and the grips from AM Cycle. Might want to check them out (oh also find ur correct saddle width before buying, made a vid on this) and happy hunting! 😉👍
Hey Georgina, I had it as my review for my grips and saddle but removed it for some personal reasons. Maybe in due course, I'll edit the video and release one focusing only on the install/removal of grips & seat. Appreciate the interest!
Hey David , I'm using the 100mm ones in this pic. It's suited for the stock bar because of the curvature, but if u change to bars that are longer, u may be able to use 130mm. Hope this is helpful.
Thank you for dropping by Rori. Ahh.. I have really been contemplating. But not sure if I should rebuild another one or just do it on this 360. Will definitely make a vid on either project! 😉👍
Thank you Byron. I got mine from JetCycle along changi. I didnt deliberately go there to buy it, rather chanced upon it and just grabbed it. Lots of other foldie stuff there, can consider dropping by. 😉👍
Could you share in the order of priority the upgrades you have made so far? Could you also share briefly how you maintain your 360? E.g. do you clean after each ride, how often you clean, change grease etc?
Hey KS thanks for the comment. For upgrades, really whatever comes to mind man. For maintenance, I just do a basic wipe down with some soap water after rides. Making sure all the contact points are clean especially during this pandemic. Maybe once a month I'll clean it more thoroughly and use dry lube on the chains after I wash it. Oh.. and new installations will mostly be lined with some lithium grease on the screws too... afraid of jams. Haha
@@kc-st appreciate it KS and congratulations on your new bike! Your question is a good one, maybe I'll plan to collaborate with some bike shop owners to share some tips normal hobbyists like us could use to maintain our bikes. Will keep that in mind. Meanwhile, ride safe and enjoy the miles! 😉👍

Those metal protectors actually look way better than I was expecting!
Fred, you are a Great fan of 360 & very meticulous owner indeed👍🏼
Thank you Keith. Just my way of making the ownership process more fun and making more like-minded hobbyist friends along the way. :D
Very good review of the 360. Can advise where did u get the BB protection and also the rear chain stay protector. Many thanks 😊
