Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this! Believe it or not your father is who taught me the art of scrimshaw! I only knew him for a short time but he made an indelible impression on my entire life. I am 51 years old now and I still scrimshand! God bless you and your family. (I was known as "Bluey" when I did Scrimshaw at Silver Dollar City in the late 1990s.)

A friend I hadn't heard from in years sent to to me. It's a piece of scrimshaw I did 13 or 14 years ago for Steve Sansweet, who has the Guinness World Record for the largest Star Wars collection. He used to work for George Lucas and Lucas Film. I connected with him when I was in the 501st Legion (the Star Wars costuming group.) Brings back memories. I remember Gene, Roscoe from when i visit in 92-94ish. My great grandmother worked at the candy shop for years
