I am not as old player as other people here, but I remember those days, when I played the game alone. I was discovering the Minecraft world more and more. Only me and only my legs, no horses, no donkeys, nothing. I remember I built a lot of towers that were something like waypoints for vanilla version. I remember my confusion, when I killed the slime and there two more appeared. I thought they are immortal, so I wrote in my diary “DON’T KILL SLIMES”, then drew one big slime, the arrow, and then two smaller slimes. I can’t say there were great times, but I surely can say, that there were great moments. We all are from different countries, different part of the world, but we all have the same memories and emotions about Minecraft.
i remember i saw a blaze and i was like "WHAT? ANOTHER PERSON?" and i talked in my 360 controller and said hello, and right after that i was blasted by the fire of doom, and ultimately died.

I played this every night with my best friend in 4th grade before he changed in 5th and 6th. We were still friends but it wasn’t the same. He moved a few hours away in 8th, but we still talked. In 9th grade he ended our friendship. I haven’t talked to him since . I used to play with my online friends from the same skyblock server 6 years ago. Today one of them is driving from Indiana to Texas to meet him. He helped me through a lot and I’m excited to see him. We played minecraft every day and we still talk everyday even though that server is dead... Minecraft might have saved my life because I was suicidal but my online friends helped me through my diagnosed MDD and ODD. Everyone had isolated me in real life but those 6 friends kept me alive. I still talked to 5/6 of them frequently, and the last one turned into a dragon furry but I still talk to her occasionally. Update: ngl I forgot I made this comment BUT here’s update I did meet my friend from Indiana. And then the following year I went to Indiana and met him and his other friends. I talk to the Australian ones still despite the time zone. The dragon furry, we make UA-cam videos together occasionally (she’s not actually a dragon furry lmao Idek why I said that). I also plan to move to Indiana when I graduate and go to college there with him and other friends :) PS: my UA-cam channel is tigcr if you want to see the video

It’s really good memory and I’ll never forget.I remember that I have 5 dogs in my world but I didn’t know before that the day I left Minecraft will come and it came true.I lost my game but the world still there.I think my dogs are still waiting for me to go back and play with them but they don’t even know that their owner can’t go back again..If I could play it again,I would go back to that world and take my doggies to everywhere to see the whole new world that has been updated.Dang I miss all my doggies

It’s just the fact that we’ll never have what we had in those times again. The memories, the friends, the ones who are no longer with us, and the way we all had that pure, innocent, loving, fun. That’s what IS gone forever.
This is so heartwarming coming from a very old player, I miss those days too not going to lie. I'm 16 but I started to play around 10-11 (the very first time it came out I bought it) years ago on my Xbox and I loved it. I still play Minecraft to this very day and every time I revisit old worlds or old versions it is an amazing experience. It was the very first game I ever really got into and I probably have a good 7k hours or more just playing the game itself. Minecraft is a beautiful game and deserves all of the love and affection it gets. God bless Mojang for coming up with this beautiful game, because it brought us all together to have wonderful times and make friends across the world.

I'm a bassist. I used to play guitar, and I decided to switch to bass. I like bass better. But this is different. This is something beautiful. This is something that made me take my old guitar from out of its corner, tune it up, and try to play this song. I'm not very good, as I haven't touched guitar for years, but I think I'm making progress, if slowly. Thank you for this. I've only been playing minecraft for about 3 years, but I still feel nostalgic listening to this song. It's just that good, even if you don't have many memories to connect it with, the whole melody itself just makes you feel things. Whenever it's dead silent in my room, I start to think I hear this song quietly in the background. I had the Minecraft screen on during the entirety of online school, so I would listen to it at all times in between the teacher's sentances. I still play the game all by myself, which is probably unusual, but I have hope I will find people to play with
I remember asking for an Xbox 360 just for minecraft and halo. I couldn't afford the game yet, so I just played the timed tutorial world on repeat and tried to get as far into it before the trial ended. It’s just the fact that we’ll never have what we had in those times again. The memories, the friends, the ones who are no longer with us, and the way we all had that pure, innocent, loving, fun. That’s what IS gone forever.
This is so heartwarming coming from a very old player, I miss those days too not going to lie. I'm 16 but I started to play around 10-11 (the very first time it came out I bought it) years ago on my Xbox and I loved it. I still play Minecraft to this very day and every time I revisit old worlds or old versions it is an amazing experience. It was the very first game I ever really got into and I probably have a good 7k hours or more just playing the game itself. Minecraft is a beautiful game and deserves all of the love and affection it gets. God bless Mojang for coming up with this beautiful game, because it brought us all together to have wonderful times and make friends across the world.
I had started playing minecraft when I turned 7 or 8, and there's no such game which I can come back after 10 years and play all day long. I spent literally all my free time by playing minecraft from 7 to 15. It was great

I've only been playing minecraft for about 3 years, but I still feel nostalgic listening to this song. It's just that good, even if you don't have many memories to connect it with, the whole melody itself just makes you feel things. Whenever it's dead silent in my room, I start to think I hear this song quietly in the background. I had the Minecraft screen on during the entirety of online school, so I would listen to it at all times in between the teacher's sentances. I still play the game all by myself, which is probably unusual, but I have hope I will find people to play with

I remember when I was little me and my best friend would go to each other's houses to play Minecraft on our Xboxs, we would just hang out and steal each other's stuff and have fun. That was fun.
The good old times. When I build a sand castle house and spiders jumped over. Build a underground wheat farm and went on a boat to travel and lost my base. Never found it again :(
