This is my favorite shirt for backpacking. It's lightweight and easy to pack when not in use. The sleeves can be rolled up if it becomes hot outside. The material is a fast-drying material but it helps to block the wind. One word of caution is to watch out for hot campfire ashes. I have a few small holes in this shirt because of that. Intro portion filmed with GoPro HERO4 Black. Contains royalty-free music from UA-cam Content Creator Audio Library.

I had some issues with abrasion from my pack straps, but otherwise it's like breathable, portable shade in direct sun. The Silver Ridge Lite has the same qualities with more casual styling.

I bought one from REI in Sandy Springs GA because I had a $20 dividend from REI. Got the red one because - Atlanta and Falcons Red go together!
Got this specific style because it had a buttoned tie to hold the sleeves up when rolled up - great idea! Wanted an outdoor shirt because Atlanta is also known as Hotlanta during the summer months. I wore it to work today with a white T-shirt and blue jeans - Red, White & Blue - the colors of the USA. 'Nuff said!
I wish I knew the purpose of the horizontal strip at the top of the left pockets, which has a Velcro tag and the Columbia logo.
Also has pockets within pockets, with dividers - what was the designer's intent?
the Columbia site talks about a rod holder - where is it?
This shirt has some incredibly unique features - just wish someone wrote about them :-(
Lots of questions, but no answers....

I own a dozen of these shirts. There great! Dematologist insisted I wear these to protect from skin cancer.

Bob Publicover I use mine to protect me from zombies too. They work great for that too. I've never encountered a zombie while wearing this shirt =)

To have made the video really interesting, you should have included the washing and drying instructions. You guys always make videos and forget to include the helpfull things.

The shirt is vented - there are slats in the back of the shirt. Might be easier for the viewing public if you had the shirt facing the camera. Thanks for the video, it helped me in making a decision on purchasing.
