I'm sorry to hear that. The amount of heat applied plus a little pressure will help. I had much better success when I switched from using a regular iron to using the Cricut heat press.
I spoke with one of the customer service reps to see if this machine was my best option for making stickers and she told me once you design something in their program it's copyright. So you can't take it out or use it anywhere else. They basically own your work which is ridiculous as an artist
I don't believe that's true. Cricut does not claim copyright over designs created using their software. You retain ownership of your designs. Cricut's Angel Policy does limit the commercial use of designs, it primarily focuses on the number of items you can sell and the types of products you can create. It does not restrict your ability to use your designs for personal use or other purposes. Here's their angel policy ttps://cricut.com/blog/gb/selling-things-youve-made-using-cricut-designs-angel-policy/.
wow I have a qs- can this heat presser be used for sublimation process or is too light weight/too low temp? and what is the programme you used for design please? thank you
The program is Cricut Design Space. Sublimation needs to be pressed at 385-400 degrees with a bit of pressure. The new HTVRONT manual heat press would work well with sublimation. You can adjust pressure with this unit. Check out my review of that here - ua-cam.com/video/u-rUojEdlbY/v-deo.htmlsi=bEKDxhYDsrtEv9rt

Nice intro to the Cricut, been thinking about adding one to my apparel & sign shop’s machines. I have Roland full size printer/cutters, as well as 54” cutter. Using a Cricut might work for tiny projects, and trying to get the wife involved in making her own stuff in combo with me. Tough sell…. Like the demo of your machine. Thanks
Thanks. Sounds like you’ve got a full setup. Cricut’s machines and software are a good entry point. She may like it and grow to want to learn the Roland. We haven’t gone there….yet. 😁
With regular HTV (heat transfer or iron on vinyl), you can use any shirt brand. With infusible link, you can also use any shirt brand but the shirt needs to be high in polyester. The higher % the brighter your colors will turn out.
Cricut Design Space is free but limited with what you get. You can get unlimited access to images, fonts and projects if you sign up for Cricut Access. So....well yes it's free but...." :)
Absolutely not. Look for 'dye sublimation' t-shirts, or basically any shirt that's fairly light in color and has 60% more polyester blend. You can get them a LOT less expensive, plus the white Cricut t-shirts don't wear well at all. They grey ones last better. Weird! Check this out too: ua-cam.com/video/L7rvbOZ_Qv0/v-deo.html
Great question! You can simply change the color of the vinyl you're using to whatever you want! Or, for multiple colors, cut multiple pieces, and assemble them like a puzzle for a rainbow of colors!
You can and should use other branded shirts! You can use virtually ANY shirt for iron-on vinyl, but look for the word 'infusible' on the shirt if you want to use the infusible inks and have them last. To be honest, we used a $3 Gildan t-shirt with infusible ink, and before we washed it, it was surprisingly good! After the first wash, you could barely see the infusible ink anymore. Oh - and infusible ink only appears on very light colored shirts (white, light grey, yellow, etc). You can buy all of these on Amazon here: amzn.to/3uCcAIF
As great as this is, it’s too complicated if I wanna make 100 shirts because I’m starting my own T-shirt line and I have to go through all these steps over and over and over again that would be crazy. I guess this is just for people who want to make like an item here and there for themselves or for a couple of people you can’t use this to create your online T-shirt business could you? It’s too complicated for me myself and I to be there all day long trying to make 150$ shirts in two and a half weeks which is how much I’m estimating I’ll be selling in that time period! Then I would have to mark up the price so much too for all my time and hard work and then using quality tshirts too! It’s a lot!

Hello Christel! Any Windows 10 computer with either USB, Bluetooth, or both will work with Design Space and the Cricut Maker. Also, there are apps for the iPhone and iPad too! We've used all three and they all work very well. Thank you for watching!
@@craftwithfelicia hello can I want to buy the maker or the explorer 2 I don't know which one is better, I mainly want to do tshirts and some stickers decorations .which one do you recommen? And also does both work with android phones ?I appreciate your answer thank you!!!
@@anafernandez7866 Yes! They ALL work with Android phones! As far as deciding between the Explore Air 2 or the Maker, watch this video that explains what each of these machines CAN and CANNOT do: www.amazon.com/live/broadcast/8069952b-d706-4960-8cc6-33c09511af57
You are correct! We've washed one of our special Cricut Infusable Ink T-Shirts at least 20 times and the color still pops. To be honest, the t-shirt is beginning to get a few pillars, like you'd see with silk or bamboo cloth. But Tim does use this as a sleepy shirt. However, the color is still perfect.
I think that is possible! Set temperature Press Temp button, then adjust value with plus (+) and minus (-) buttons. To switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius, press and hold the Temp button. The software should also have a setting for cm/mm as well.
I don't even know where to start. What kind of machine do I need? What tools? How much does it cost to upkeep all the products to make cards, shirts and such? How much is the heat press? You can't use other shirts?
You CAN use other shirts with vinyl - just about any cotton or blend t-shirt! No silk or anything that doesn't like hot irons. We use $2 Walmart shirts! Upkeep is zero - no oil, no maintenance, no cleaning. You can use plain paper or cardstock too, or the Cricut card making kits if you want. We use both. Regarding the machine you choose, it really depends how deep you want to go. For a few small shirts or cards here and there, the Joy will do. If you want to make 100 t-shirts a week, you’ll probably want a Maker. This video we did on Amazon Live explains the differences. www.amazon.com/live/broadcast/8069952b-d706-4960-8cc6-33c09511af57
It can be a little scary. But this tutorial also works for the Explore. It's the same exact software and for basic things like cutting paper or vinyl where you don't have to change the blades, there's virtually no difference!
Just so you know there is a group with over 300,000 people that are getting ready to start a class action lawsuit against Cricut because their machines no longer read the registration marks for print and cut, there are hours of video submissions proving this and all the wasted time and material. This all started after a new software update. This is very serious and will make the national news. have a great day...

With regular HTV (heat transfer or iron on vinyl), you can use any shirt brand. With infusible link, you can also use any shirt brand but the shirt needs to be high in polyester. The higher % the brighter your colors will turn out.
So entertaining I wouldn’t have wanted to watch any other video lol
Thank you so much! You're awesome!
Thank you
Thank YOU Valerie!
So, Cricut recommends 400 degrees, but the Cricut iron doesn't go to 400 degrees?
The Easy Press 2 goes to 400 but not the original.
The account is free right... "wellll... yesss" don't sound too confident 🤣
Cricut Design Space is free but limited with what you get. You can get unlimited access to images, fonts and projects if you sign up for Cricut Access. So....well yes it's free but...." :)
Wait- I have to buy Cricut infusible ink shirts for this to work? They're $7/each... So much for DIY
What if u have a picture and its black and white and u want to add colors...
Great question! You can simply change the color of the vinyl you're using to whatever you want! Or, for multiple colors, cut multiple pieces, and assemble them like a puzzle for a rainbow of colors!
He is so adorable
Thanks, Pamela!
Thank you. i have been looking for a starting point. I will watch this video every day!!!!
You're welcome. :)
So you can’t use other branded shirts? If so any recommendation on where to buy?
You can and should use other branded shirts! You can use virtually ANY shirt for iron-on vinyl, but look for the word 'infusible' on the shirt if you want to use the infusible inks and have them last. To be honest, we used a $3 Gildan t-shirt with infusible ink, and before we washed it, it was surprisingly good! After the first wash, you could barely see the infusible ink anymore. Oh - and infusible ink only appears on very light colored shirts (white, light grey, yellow, etc). You can buy all of these on Amazon here: amzn.to/3uCcAIF
LOVE ❤️ this, the way she explains details
Thank you :)
I thank you guys for this!!!
Thank YOU for watching Brandi! Have fun crafting!
It’s a lot!
Agreed. It’s is not for high volume.
thank you that seem to get to the point and very easy. Thank you!
You're welcome! Enjoy your Cricut experience Lynne! It's so much fun!
It Really Pops! I’m just like tickled pink 🤗
It does! We're playing with 'puff vinyl' now - it adds a whole new dimension!
Thank you 🙏 for the help u the best
Any time!

Did you get a Cricut Maker 3 yet?
We did! It's here on this channel!
“Shut up!” Lol lol
Thx 4 sharing very useful, what's the name of the tool u cut your material/transfer tape with?
Hi - is a trimmer and part of the Cricut essential tools set amzn.to/3fZ5Rno. 🙂
what gay man does not know about lint roller?
LOL True!
Can you use a tablet instead of a computer?
Absolutely! And a phone.
If you have scraps do you organize them to know what kind of vinyl it is?
AWESOME question! Felicia puts them into plastic bins by permanent vs removable vs HTV. Great idea to save + organize!
This commentator is me! Haha! I’m fascinated 🙌🏻
Us too!
Best Cricut videos ever.
Thank you thank you thank you!
The guy talking sounds like ethan from h3h3 production on youtube.
He's even cooler than Ethan!
I'm ane jo , took me 3 watches to get that SMH
LOL
hello. can u tell me what computer i need to get that is compatible? i found out that my chromebook is not compatible. Thank u for your response.
BEST Cricut series ever. Just watched your latest ones and they are AWESOME! Subscribed.
Thank you :)
I want more tutorials with these two😂😂
More to come. :)
You said as long as use the cricut shirt, the ink won't fade? So, it doesn't last on other brand shirts or did I hear that wrong? Thank you
You are correct!
Great video thankyou, Very tempted to buy this now. Can you change the software to metric dimensions and the easypress to °C ?
I think that is possible! Set temperature Press Temp button, then adjust value with plus (+) and minus (-) buttons. To switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius, press and hold the Temp button. The software should also have a setting for cm/mm as well.
So I’m guessing cricut is only good for letters and not images ?
Best for letters, good for monochrome images or outlines (like simple hearts or emojis). But - check this out: ua-cam.com/video/L7rvbOZ_Qv0/v-deo.html
I don't even know where to start. What kind of machine do I need? What tools? How much does it cost to upkeep all the products to make cards, shirts and such? How much is the heat press? You can't use other shirts?
Also, I love just regular crafting as well. Please tell me I only need one machine and it can do everything lol. Thank you!

This is an excellent question! We get this a LOT.
I need a Fabulous shirt. Where do I get one of these?
You can MAKE one with a Cricut! $2.99 for the shirt, and about 30 cents worth of vinyl.
You natively emanate fabulousness - no shirt necessary, Mr. Freeman.
@@craftwithfelicia where do you get your shirts?
@@sherryserrano4701 Which shirts? There are two types here.
"look at that diamond. are you wealthy" LMFAOOOO I loved his energy throughout the whole video. This video was very helpful thank you
Thanks for watching! Glad it was helpful.
I received the Cricut Explorer Air 2 for Christmas and I just can't understand how to use this machine.
Wow. Didn’t know. I haven’t created any sticker lately with print and cut but will check it.
Excellent video..,..I just bought my Cricut.,...don't know where to start...I want to do planners
Thank you and congrats on your purchase. 😊
Thank you very helpful and straight to the point
