Do you have a link to a build?
@@sitalius7591 no i dont have a link at the moment but i can find it again
You have the same voice inflections as wallah
Y’all forgot cal hands 😢
When next zero to hero???!?!?!
I kinda wish they made this apply to all ranges melees, hunter exotics are all so hyper specific and exclusive that build diversity can kinda be limited with certain subclass elements, especially strand and stasis imo. Theres like a million throwing knife exotics, athrys for weighted only, calibans for prox knife only, shards of galanor super energy on all knife hits and kills, and ophidia spathe that buffs knives and gives an extra charge. Spathe would work really well as a general exotic for ranged melee abilities across all subclasses especially with stasis shurikens and strand kunais.
How viable is this for endgame?
it's a melee build so prob not viable
@@sunshot_addictI mean tbf three of the most dominant endgame builds of all time (bonk and Bow and liars handshake) have been melee builds
@@ImpatientPlatypus okay but bow and bonk were just OP this throwing knife build is nowhere near that powerful
@@sunshot_addictI think you mean in grandmasters and any master content where survivability is key? Otherwise, melee builds are great in other endgame content, like dungeons. The only 2 melee builds that are viable in GM though, are strand titans with stronghold and lament, and arc hunter with assassin's cowl and one two punch shotgun.
@@infinitedeath1384 well endgame to me is gms or master raids but yeah this build would be great in a dungeon or raid
Good bye athrysis, you deserve a good rest
Athrys is better than this build tbh
@@ThriveOnEgo_ I disagree. I think it does more damage, the main issue is it’s less flexible. Does the timer for embrace stay after a kill or do you need to reproc it? I haven’t used it in ages in PvP since strand came out and never used it in PvE
@@HAWKER37 you have to reproc the timer but its not like that is hard to do (get 3 precision hits in 2.5 seconds and its goes up to 30 seconds) and you get unstoppable knives and a 200% damage increase over ophidias 100%. Not to mention you need to get 3 stacks to get that damage bonus and only lasts 5secs unless you refresh it.
@@ThriveOnEgo_ I’d have to try it out then. This feels like a case of new toy syndrome, however I think ophidia does super boost the knife trick into an add clearing monster compared to athrysis which is better at more consistent main target damage
@@HAWKER37 you can also pair with gunpowder gamble to help with ad clear.
Look at these titan crybabies.
😂
Lmao as a titan, please ignore the crybabies who aren't real titans. I cleared a dungeon with my bonk hammer build today with the same ease as I did last season :). Bonk was op anyway, being used for boss dps. Heavy weapons should be for bosses. Also strand titan feels better since the change to banner. The only thing I don't like is the 35% nerf to synthoceps, which is noticed right away in ghosts of the deep. Threw mini hammer at an ogre in the first encounter with roaring flames and biotics active, and left it with a sliver of health, so finished it off with a punch. So that change is definitely noticeable, but not the end of the world.
Pretty sure dodging near enemies is 15m
Meanwhile balidorse wrathshitters got their damage tier nerfed and encourage you to play frostpulse in pve..........
Personally, I’m tired of all the melee hunter builds. They’re great and all but melee just ain’t it for me anymore. Yall have fun with it tho
im bad at genji :((
Sees beginning of video. Your health isn’t regenerating after those kills you’re still in the red. I now assume this build sucks lol. /s
lol, I just need to remember to throw my grenade
So 1-2 punch buffs throwing knives but nerfs throwing hammers? jfc
Kinda like 1-2 punch doesn’t work with Liar’s Handshake anymore but does work with Synthoceps. Poor Titans. 😂
@@georgiabulldog7671 1-2 punch should also work with liars handshake ngl. They nerfed it to not work with ranged melee's a while back but I guess it still works with throwing knives
@@georgiabulldog7671It does work with it, but provides less of a buff when used in conjunction with liars handshake.
@@infinitedeath1384 ok it works but it’s so bad it’s not worth using. Same outcome.
@@georgiabulldog7671 You're better off using an ad/major clear special when using liars handshake, for sure.
i dont know why but this shit isnt working for me

Hey comment section.
Since youre going to be using this in mainly low level content.
Calibans Hands with prox knife and ignitions truly and whole heartedly puts this build in shambles.
You got a link to a build
But would this be good in GMs?
Nope. Precious scars would be better. Someone will probably make a GM build with it, with either vex mythoclast or ticuus divination. The new change provides you restoration when getting weapon kills that match your subclass. So it might actually be good for other subclasses too.
Dude, the hunter sucks. It’s always some liars handshake arc punch, punch, build, or a Solar throw knife throw knife Dodge throw knife throw knife build. I don’t know how this is fun to anyone.!!
