My brother has the only surviving piano roll for this piece. He has been offered a lot of money for it, however will never part with it. It is a beautiful piece and Jelly Roll at his best!
The Pearls is a masterpiece and this artist interprets it with a fine touch, adding a bit of swing and improvisation, while adhering to its original form.Bravo!
The pearls is a brilliant composition which shows Morton's genius. This interpretation reveals the possibilities of this piece. The artist swings just a bit and improvises without losing the form of the original. Bravo!
I just bought sheet music at your website and you just packed more wonderful sheets than i ordered on the top - you are so kind! :) thank you! I definetely will buy your brand new 4. Volume!
I like you better without the beard hahahhaha, nice playing as always! I really need to either ask someone to transcribe these performances or get my hands on midi files made by you xD
We ARE indeed all Humans, but as Georges ORWELL said.... Some are more equal (human) than others... What about Alexander Boldachev, or Daniil Trifonov, or Max Keenlyside...!!!???!!!🌟

This brothers is seventh heaven. I'll take a dominant, make it a major for the main course, and a minor for desert. A piece of distinction, and a player of equal or more distinction. An ill wind blows, but not in this video it don't. Quite remarkable...

Is your brother Adam Swanson himself?
@pequod3782 it'd have to be. The only logical answer if ya think about it.
You have that nice touch like Jellyroll.

Jelly Roll would have been happy with this fellows rendition of his great rag.
I don't think it's a rag piece, it's a pure jazz composition of Jelly Roll Morton, best known as "inventor" of jazz music.
Kind regards
