I would say the SNES version, because it just feels less cheap. The ability to be able to win the grapples by pressing the dpad quickly makes a very big difference to this game. The addition of a guard button is also good, although I don't think I used it much, except at the boss in stage 6. The ability to hit the stage 5 boss when he's down also makes the game feel less cheap. Of course, the SNES version doesn't look as good, and the final boss is small compared with arcade, but I just don't think that's as important as the gameplay changes.
hey could you guys play the Japanese version on Super Famicom from King Of The Monsters 2? this one is uncensored with explosion death like Neo Geo arcade version and smoke lava in stage 6.
I'm not so sure about that. The main thing is I have to prioritize what game I'm going to do next in a never ending list of games, and the changes don't sound too significant for the Japanese version. I can make a note of it, but I wouldn't expect to get around to that any time soon.
@@arronmunroe its mean bosses monsters or alien character. back in the day as i was 9 age for my 3rd grade my thoughts is 9 monsters only on sega genesis as i brought it on blockbuster rent game since 1995 meanwhile i buy a snes rental game in king of the monsters 2. 3 monsters as Atomic guy, Super Geon and cyber woo. it was little confused to how to play a code bosses in versus mode on the snes version like the similar first game Fatal Fury in 1993 by the Takara.
@@HydrogenMist715 I hadn't known that the Genesis version allows you to use the bosses in versus mode. I didn't really look into that version too much, because it doesn't have co-op like arcade and SNES. It is unusual that only Genesis has that feature, though.

I NEVER PLAYED ARCADE. IT WAS ALL ABOUT SEGA SUPER NINTENDO AND NINTENDO 64. THEN PS1 AND THEN PS2

The one thing I wish they'd done here is added more colour into the headshots of the monsters. Other than that, the game looks pretty good.

The genesis visuals and sound are better, but I like the snes’ co-op / pseudo side scroller and final boss.
