It's hilarious watching folks trying to get rid of sadness in the beginning 🤣 it's lovely to see that towards the end, most understood that joy was really toxic positivity and very manipulative, we need to be able to feel *all* the emotions. Console going gray, showcasing depression, very well done by the writers.
It's a good movie to teach audiences of all ages about emotional intelligence and getting in sync with yourself.
I think something is wrong with me, haha. I couldn't stand joy and loved sadness

Bing Bong most likely can't read because he was created and probably stopped interacting with Riley before she learned how lol...
But joy and sadness can read so I’m still confused 😭
@@J_mped Because they both evolved WITH Riley. Bing Bong didn't because Riley most likely stopped interacting with him while she was still very young, probably before she even started school, where she made real-life friends. So, Bing Bong didn't grow and evolve the way her emotions did...

@@J_mped They probably did, but Joy trusted Bing Bong, who said he always went through it without issue. She just wanted to get back to headquarters any means necessary and if the shortcut would get her there faster, then she wasn't going to think about the actual potential risks. Sadness actually read about what the place was and what happened when it got turned on, so she had more understanding than Joy of the dangers. That's why Sadness tried to warn them beforehand (Joy ignored it)and then knew what was happening when it happened...

I found joy so annoying from the start and hated how she treated sadness

Yeah, the toxic positivity stood out to me immediately. Joy was the one who tried to prevent a sad core memory from being treated like a core memory.
Nope I liked sadness from the get go and it annoys me how most reactors immediately hate on her.
The animation movie SOUL is also worth the watch. I think you'd like it
