@Jean-h6c He's charming, funny, extremely handy, and easy on the eyes. But mostly Brian's seemingly carefree way of going through life is what interests me. "I want to sleep in nature, so I will. Any night of the week."
You’re getting rather up-scale. New drone carrier, new sander, outdoor lunch then a bit of browsing in a medieval market and a brocante. Fancy, yet simple, but I love it 😂.
Loved every second of this vlog! The incredible countryside scenery, lunch, medieval fair, peeks into a brocante (that we here in Canada simply drool over), and your laid-back (as far as we know 🫢) attitude is a real “pull” to your channel. I hope you’ll never tire of the beauty, history and varied activities that you have access to. Wishing you a wonderful life at your home in France.👍🏻👍🏻 Edited to add….the only thing that would make your vlogs better is if they were longer and more frequent, but for now, every one is a delight!
@joannemacintyre251 I think this is my favorite post. I totally agree. And to that, I would add that your transition from one frame to the next is improving immensely with each video. We'll done Brian. I look forward to more vlogs. I enjoy the new day to day.
Always grateful to UA-camrs like yourself that take us along on your daily “to do” list. The world is so interesting no matter what is being videotaped. We watch b/c it is something that we, the viewer, do not see or do in our daily existence. Drone flights are some of my favorite things to watch. Thank you.
Couple of things.. I live in Germany now, and my husband always says, "better to have and not need , then to need and not have"...thats why we have a cellar full of nuts, screws, bolts, Wassers, assorted pieces of scrap wood that are "still good"... assorted cables, with or without plus or sockets... well, you get the idea. And I always say, as long as you can find it when you need it... Haven't been to a medievel fair in years, so thankyou, and now it's on my to do list... I enjoy your Blog every Sunday Morning with my first cup of coffee. ❤
That was a fun adventure! I love the laid back approach you have Brian. I'm an old retired Irish woman, a widow and hearing you talk and popping in some humour here and there...my family style. Thank you.
Oh Brian...just a HUGE thank you for sharing. I simply love your 'Life of Brian'. My beloved husband of 38 years was a Brian too but Welsh and we met, married and lived in Australia apart from 10 years in the UK throughout the 1990s. Your vlogs always make me happy and transport me to rural France. Hugs Helen
i love all the medieval crafting stuff, and all the historical architecture, and the beautiful scenery of rural france, and your very large shop, and. . . well . . . i pretty much like all of what i saw today. thanks for sharing.
So nice to travel through the countryside with you Brian especially as it's so green! The drone footage makes such a difference. Enjoyed the Medieval market as well, many thanks😊
Hi Brian, that’s a huge workshop that you have and very well organised. I love your little trips for something to eat or just a wee jaunt round the countryside . 😘🇨🇮
Nice to see the snippets from the medieval fair. As a former re-enactor its always a delight to see my “kindred” in action - half a (more appropriate) world away. Regards from Australia.
Lovely countryside scenery and the Medieval market was awesome, what an enjoyable vlog. Thanks for taking us along with you to see a small bit of France. Stay safe Brian 👍🏻
what's next? Breakfast? Amazing it's only the 10th vlog, feels like I've been enjoying this much longer than that. Looking forward to much more to come!
Love your tool shed/garage nick nacks everywhere the way a tool shed/garage should be . Love the Irish in you .keep up the blogs your so enjoyable to watch when I'm not out in my garden. Who am I kidding I'm just a kiwi girl who can take you with me 😊
Its great fun to see how many tools and stuff some men own and can just fix stuff with no instructions!? It really amazes me. My Dad n both brothers were like this and i miss them so much now theyre gone😢 Keep up the great work Brian, very enjoyable content for us lounge 🦎 lizards!? 😂
What a wonderful free spirited life your leading Brian. 😊 The countryside is so pleasant, your trips to the chateau are just a part of a daily uncluttered routine of things you need to do. The stops at various shops and the old village market and a “spot of lunch”, just add to the whole unbothered by time type of appeal many would be envious of, as I am fascinated by. Your story telling and camera/editing is wonderfully stitched together. Thank you for allowing me into your life. Santé 🍷🍷
I'd love to see you and/or Dan visit Guédelon Castle -- it's a bit of a drive, but they're essentially rebuilding a medieval castle using the tech of that time.
Anytime you're short on content, throw in some more drone footage of that gorgeous French countryside! Nice music match to that festival market in the village 👌
Why do men get so excited over new toy box's ha ha, did you not fancy one of those furry capes at the medieval market? Intriguing place to visit though. Very nice scenery thank you for sharing.
My favorite shot was you finishing work at the chateau and when you drove away, the top of the chateau was seen. It was a lovely site. Keep on moving Brian. You're a man on the go🌅🌅🤩🤩
I love your videos. You make me laugh. You are relatable. And you show things in France that I've never experienced. I appreciate you. Keep up the great work.
I love going rambling with you thru the countryside, and market, towns and places to eat. It's a great little adventure and look at another way of life very different than California. Thanks. It also fills in the blank spaces when the building at the chateau isn't taking place . I get a little nervous when there is no footage by noon here. Wonder if one, or all of you have fallen off the roof yet, or the cable broke when hauling up those huge, metal whatevers. Your blogs are nicely put together with music, and it makes me wonder if you have been taking instruction from Dan.
Funny you should mention that: “ I haven’t seen his upload and it’s ___ PM …. wonder if one of them fell off the chateau”. 😂😂😂😂 Although truth be known… this isn’t funny at all. 👍🇨🇦
Thank you for the beautiful drone footage! Your outbuilding looks like my workshop storage. Not everyone lives around the corner from a hardware store, and when you are rebuilding/reconstructing something more than a couple of decades old it it important to deconstruct and save any parts. Trying to buy them can be impossible, take months (if available), and costly. Smart man, Brian! What type of Visa do you have? I'm assuming you snuck in before Brexit.
Brian, you’re a true renaissance man aren’t you, bet there are many facets to your life, I can see why you live in this area, breathtakingly beautiful. Sounds like you’ve travelled some, love to hear about that as I’m sure many of us would. Enjoyed your vlog! Be safe at the top of the chateau please, you’re just getting started!
Thanks for a lovely video Brian. The drone shots are superb.Glad you are getting some fun as well as working hard. Keep safe up there on the roof. Obviously no vertigo for you?🤣👏🙏🏻🙏🏻🤞🤞
What was that Fair in that village? Here in Australia each year we have a ‘Lost Trades Faire’ where people set up stalls and demonstrate their crafts of fletching, sawyers, book making and binding, sock knitting machines, lead lighting, dry walling, millet broom making, coopers, etc etc. It runs over 2 or 3 days and is extremely popular. I love going to unusual fairs. 🇦🇺🦘🦘🇦🇺
Great music, for intro! I am a biker and was in France and Spain in June. Back again in France this Sept. Lovely, lovely roads. No where near as much traffic than in the UK, (if you keep out of the cities). Pace of life seems more 'chilled'. I am enjoying what I am missing in the UK. Cheers Brian. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Ladies, is it just me, or does anyone else think Brian is the sexiest guy on UA-cam?

@@georgeattig8088 Brian said he likes his "toys". Work hard, play hard.
Love the music choices. Very appropriate 👌 Thanks for taking me to lunch, the medieval festival & to a brocante. The pleasure was all mine!

I appreciate so much that you talk to us as if we're just casually hanging out together. Makes it feel very chill and stress-free.
@@EliseLogan I agree.

Absolutely love your down to earth videos, the old town market way of life makes you feel you really want to have a quiet life in France!

Brian in a Sunday shirt! Quite the businessman. ☺️
Lovely views, unpacking, well known Senseo.
Also want to mark your work in Chaumont, incredible. Thanks for sharing a new vlog 👌
I love the variety of what you share. That medieval market was cool.
That was a fun adventure! I love the laid back approach you have Brian. I'm an old retired Irish woman, a widow and hearing you talk and popping in some humour here and there...my family style. Thank you.
I'm an Australian retired woman, also widow, just love watching and listening to Brian...he's the best isn't he!!!

i love all the medieval crafting stuff, and all the historical architecture, and the beautiful scenery of rural france, and your very large shop, and. . . well . . . i pretty much like all of what i saw today. thanks for sharing.

Brian: I see you next time
Dan: I see you tomorrow
So nice to travel through the countryside with you Brian especially as it's so green! The drone footage makes such a difference. Enjoyed the Medieval market as well, many thanks😊
had to smile because the kitchen is bare, but the atelier is chock-a-block of allsorts 😉
Nice video of Brian's daily rousting about and the Medieval festive and shop with the books and what nots was interesting.
Increasingly enjoying your vlogs......the BEAUTIFUL landscapes, the music, your calming commentary. Keep up the good work and thanks.
Hi Brian, that’s a huge workshop that you have and very well organised. I love your little trips for something to eat or just a wee jaunt round the countryside . 😘🇨🇮
😅thank you for a strangely satisfying blog. You are so pleasantly comfortable. in your own shoes. Enjoyed your day.
Brian, I do enjoy your cup of coffee even when it’s like waiting for a Guinness ☕️
Enjoyed the time traveling bit, very authentic
Love the music and going for a ride to see the views and great opening of your vlog. Hermoso sunset ❤ love the festival and book store

You're hilarious waiting for your coffee. Also, the sander with no paper and plug - I had a good belly laugh. Love it.
Wow! Wish my local market looked like that. Awesome, thank you for sharing.😊
what's next? Breakfast?

Great workshop Brian, very well set out everything to hand, you are very organised!
My mother used to cut the plugs off broken things b4 throwing them away 😂
Love a good French lunch. In Normandy 3 courses, bread an a half carafe of wine for 11 euros. Why wouldn't you :)

Yeah, nice and easy, lovely to watch.
this is is cool to see what else is around Chateau Chaumont area, and that life isn't all work...cheers
That village tour was epic! Did everyone in North America notice how many cars were in the downtown area?
Hi Brian, your vlogs are perfect just as they are, love the 🎶 music, content, humour, banter, you are a breath of fresh air. 🎶🚴🐔🕺👏👏👏👏👏
An ironed shirt? Who are you
Don't worry, it's back to the black tshirts tomorrow :)
Dan, he’s changed … 😂
Dan, you turned Brian into an influencer with an ironed shirt 😱You have a lot to answer for 😆
I haven't been to a Renaissance Fair in ages... taking us along was fun, I went back and watched it a few times to get the gist of it all.
Why do I live in Texas when I could be living in beautiful France!!!
Why do men get so excited over new toy box's ha ha, did you not fancy one of those furry capes at the medieval market? Intriguing place to visit though. Very nice scenery thank you for sharing.
