@@DaveLuehr My family and I owned and operated a successful local shop my whole life, actually my father just sold the shop back in October. Was his retirement plan for the 40 years he was in the collision repair industry. Myers Body Shop, in Brevard NC.. Still in the industry though and actually work with Joe Hudson Collision now, in the management side of things so I enjoy your insights and knowledge you provide in your videos. Thanks for sharing and passing some lessons learned, down for us to grab on to. Always looking for ways to learn and grow within my profession and you have definitely helped in that regard!

Thanks for doing these! Do you have any tips for a painter that works for someone that runs their shop poorly? I'm in a tough situation and I think I would be better off on my own. Any advice? Thank you again for these videos!
Sorry for a very late reply. I hope your situation is improving. I wish there were more leaders who knew how to take care of their painters. I was a painter too and I would sometimes communicate with my boss that I needed more from them. You deserve a good leader... I don't know if going off on your own is the best option unless you really like being an entrepreneur. There is a leader somewhere and I hope you find him or her.
