- Hi friends. Here is a video of an elder giving a talk at a congregation that he is visiting. He brilliantly leads the audience in love throughout his talk and then at the end, issues a crushing blow to the organization just before his microphone is shut down and elders usher him off the stage.
For those of you tuning in who have NOT been Jehovah’s Witnesses, understand that this organization publishes books and magazines that contain their doctrine. They must do this because their doctrine does not exist in scripture alone. Anything that is contained in the bible that contradicts the doctrine as outlined in their publications is NOT allowed. If you read Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz you'll learn that 1974 was actually the year but they had already published their mistake and didn't know how to retract it without losing members. By January 1975 they already knew the end wasn't coming according to their predictions but stuck with the lie, allowed people to quit their jobs and sell their houses and later passed the buck onto the brother's and sister's. Shameful!

Later on I remember the governing body explaining it away by saying it was just a few elders getting over zealous. 🙄

Excellent comment, exactly, that goes to show how robotized, brain washed and indoctrinated with a false doctrine this people are, so I agree that the way out of a cult to see the wonderful light of our Lord Jesus Christ is a long way to recover... but there are heroes such as this man who dared to think for himself and see the light. This should be an inspiration for others to follow on their way out of that satanic cult... But the sad part is that there are genuinely good people among them, but they haven't realized that they have been lied to, and the people who have realized that, I can see that they are very angry, even people who have spent years in the cult, and they say that they have wasted a big part of their life... That was THE BEST TALK EVER! Upon my first impression I thought that he was stopped because he wasn't saying, 'Jehovah' enough and talking about Jesus' role, instead...I heard NOTHING inappropriate come out of his mouth! To me, that they would object to Jesus that much was insane. I was SO glad I left, after seeing this.

Thank you for this video. I realize how brave this man was. From my perspective, he was basically standing up to the governing body and saying, “We don’t need to use propaganda and uninspired propaganda when we all have the Bible right here in front of us now. I loved how the congregation seemed in full support of him. The plug was pulled, yet he kept speaking. These other elders must’ve had some CREATIVE explaining to do to their flock.
I was a JW for about a year,still doing my business but realised the elders is like they monitor members to the core.
I think they would have being better to let him finish and not bring too much attention to him.
You can tell from the start that this man isn't a typical JW. He seems to be thinking for himself.
No religious person thinks for themselves. They believe in a God because someone else told them there is a God. They just go looking for the god that they agree with.

I believe in him because I met him myself. I saw him face-to-face, and once you have done that, there's no going back; you KNOW he is real just as much as you can look back and know the food that you ate at breakfast was real.

They eventually realised the man is not a brother anymore.
He said he's been out of the group for over ten years, that's why maybe he's not familiar with the present arrangement.
He even said the length of time is cut short to 30 minutes, which, during his time it's longer than that.
Romans 10:9 is a very important text.
It says when you proclaim Jesus as Lord you'll be saved.
And Acts 2:36 says "God made Jesus both LORD and CHRIST..."

It is so interesting that as a 4th generation JW, it was the simple reading of the scriptures WITHOUT WACHTOWER GLASSES that led me to a new relationship with Jesus Christ! I did have to use the Kingdom Interliter Bible to see how Fred Franz had changed the JW bible so radically. Anyway. I left the Organization in the early 80's, and never looked back. Keep up the good work my sister. My 4 real sisters are all still in.

Since leaving the organisation there have been times when my faith has wavered. I can understand why some become atheist, especially those that experienced such terrible abuse. I dont judge anyone for what they believe or do not believe. However, I do still believe there is a God and that jesus came to save us. Hearing this man give his talk from the platform and knowing why he was stopped, makes me realise why I left and why I believe now that I have learnt the 'real truth'. Keep safe and well.

I try my best to do my best as a human being but I no longer have the guilt I did when I was a JW. I never felt good enough, but of course that is how we were meant to feel. Agnosticism refers to something completely different; it's a philosophical position about how we gain knowledge of God. Understand that difference and don't be afraid to be identity as what you are. I have nothing but admiration for people who have been brought up, thoroughly indoctrinated in a religion or belief set, who can find the strength, not only to think for themselves and see what is false but to have the courage to stand on their own and speak for their convictions. It is so telling that the thing that finally pushed the elders over the edge was the simple gospel for salvation. Thank you for sharing this. It blessed me. FYI I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness and was a pioneer for five years after high school. I left when I started college, and after being in the New age for many years, I finally came to confess Christ and believe in Him with my whole heart for salvation in 2019. I have never looked back. ❤

Yes, Valerie, I noticed too that it was the simple gospel message that precipitated the 'elder's' interruption . To us believers who trust in Christ and His work on the cross, the gospel is the sweet aroma of life. To these Watchtower Witnesses, as with all unbelievers, it is the aroma of death. To us the gospel is God's wisdom, but to them it is foolishness. These people have replaced God with the Watchtower organisation. Our Lord abides in heaven and is enrobed in holiness and perfect righteousness.Their lords live in Brooklyn and wear business suits. So sad.

I had chills during his whole talk - what a brave man!!! The audience heard exactly what they needed to hear! Read your Bible, go back to the basics! I'm not even a believer, but I've read the Bible in its entirety 4 times and I'm now on my 5th read as a student of classical Hebrew.

I am now 65. In all the congregations that I have been in, and in all the talks that I have heard, I have never heard anyone speak out against the Bible or the teachings of Christ. Nor have I heard anyone object to those teachings. Jesus is our Exemplar, our Savior, our Redeemer, our God. We are encouraged to study all the scriptures and to pray about them. We are encouraged to have a personal relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. We are also encouraged to not depend on any man's word, but instead to ask God to know the truth. These have been my experiences and I testify to you in the holy name of Jesus Christ that my witness is true. I invite all to come to iur church and see for yourself.

According to the Book of Mormon my church that my wife and children attend is the church of the devil, and God is going to pour out his wrath on us. When I recently showed this to two Mormon missionaries who visited my home, they apologized profusely and told us they didn’t think we were bad people and believed my wife and I would go to heaven. I’m not quite sure how people who attend and proclaim the message of the “church of the devil” are going to go to heaven. 🤔
The missionaries left and haven’t come back even though I invited them back.

It gets really awkward in a meeting when things don't go exactly as planned. I remember sitting in a meeting one time, when the speaker got down from the platform and started screaming in pain while clutching his chest. Some of the men took him to the foyer and shut the doors, and the show went on as if nothing had happened. He turned out to be ok, but while it was happening I wondered if anything was going to be done for him. Order and keeping appearances are the important things.
As a person who once was a state certified emt I can vouch that whatever they were doing for him, probably calling 911, was better than having a panicked congregation freaking out around him

They used to come to my house. I have a bit of a soft spot for them, but they don’t like to be challenged.
I got lots of JW visits, but after a young couple visited and told me " we really enjoyed your enthusiasm for God. We're really looking forward to our next talk with you.", I've never had another JW visit. Obviously, they reported how thrilled they were with some of the biblical truths we were talking about and I was black-listed.
After I watched this video last night I praised God in my bedtime prayers and even in my dreams. I prayed that this man is truly saved and that God used him and opened the ears of some of the audience. I thank you so much for posting this. I get so sad thinking about those poor brainwashed trapped JWs. That God allowed this gentleman to talk to them while their guard was down. I hope I see this man in heaven one day and get the chance to tell him how God used him to fill my night with praise, joy and hope. Thank you again for sharing this.

I am so proud of this man. I am so happy he took the opportunity to say the TRUTH.... He went in there with his weapon, the holy scriptures, and conveyed Jesus message to us all in such a brave way...
I think that his approach was very tactful and he was gently making his points. Maybe that's why he lasted so long up there.

Wow. When I reflect on 30 years of The Organization and my life, it's very sad. Today when I mention to JWs on the corner, my story that I quit college and a great career to pioneer as a first generation JW, and to be treated as such, and after 30 years waking up; there are many witnesses have said many many many times "that was your decision, nobody twisted your arm" and that 1975 was never taught as an end time prophecy... they say that was my misunderstanding. Today the basics are what was in that talk that Jesus Christ is Lord and he was resurrected and the reason I do right is because I love Him, and it's between me and Christ. Thanks for a reminder.

I would have expected him to get shut down much earlier, but they let him talk about how the incorrect teachings goes all the way to the top, past the elders, and they still let him talk. He said you have ro recognize the King "and we all know who that its. It's Jesus." Still they let him talk. It was only when he talked about this Jesus dying and rising again that they finally shut him down. He even accused the governing body of preaching another gospel, which is condemned by God, through Paul in Galatians 1:8. When I really started my own spiritual journey for myself on my own, that is what I said. Please let me see and KNOW the truth no matter what. I wanted to see the light even if it blinded me. And I really believe it's true that those who seek shall find. My journey just gets stranger and stranger after growing up in JW horrible cult. Subjected to their love of hiding child abuse. Mixing those religious beliefs while you are forming your personality and core beliefs and then throw in lots of physical abuse, isolation and a pinch of sexual abuse fallowed by shunning, well you get an absolute confusing, distorted mess. I only know how I think and if I am in God's image I'm going to guess he's more like how I think and feel and less like people abusing their power for selfish ugly reasons. And how I feel and if I'm on with my self would most likely tell me if God's ok with what I am doing. Usually if I am doing something I am not supposed to he let's me know. And I believe the true God is much more understanding and compassionate than men. Considering it says no man has a place between you and God. Just, please be gentle with your self. This stuff can do horrible things to people

Although I no longer consider myself a Christian, it find this talk interesting, because it is the talk of a free mind. During my PIMO phase I made the excuse that I was going through depression to not be active, not preaching, not doing assignments, etc... still, because of my good reputation I was given public prayers. Then I received congratulations for how original my prayers were (no canned phrases, minimal JW jargon, they were like a personal meditation spoken aloud), while my family, who knew about my PIMO situation, trembled thinking that at any moment I was going to apostatize in the middle of prayer.
I was waiting for him to say something controversial and all he said is the way to salvation 101 and they reject this ? Shame

That was one of the most amazing talks I've ever heard given in a Kingdom Hall! How dare those Elder stop him from Reading from the scriptures they stopped him from Reading God's word!! What is wrong with these people I don't understand what is wrong with getting back to the basics and not having all these policies and rules and laws just like the Pharisees did. And that's what they treated him like he was telling the truth as it is represented in the scriptures and then the Pharisee comes up and stops him I'm blown away that they would stop that man from Reading from the Bible! They don’t want you to know it’s a simple message of the gospel, which saves. They want you to remain confused by reading their publications. If you’re fearful and confused, you can’t see what’s right in front of you.
It was clear to the elders of the hall, that this visiting speaker was using scriptures and reasoning that exposed the WT for their false claims that association with WT is essential to salvation. That's why they interupted him. In the other version, the elder who takes the platform says, "It was a "bad" intereptation."
If his visit to that hall that day didn't wake anyone in the moment, it has certainly made it's impact on YT.

@@nicodemusbengurion8340 actually I was raised a a JW and at 15 years old they disfellowshipped me because I got pregnant by a 20 year old brother who was baptized he got privately reproved, and I who was unbaptized got disfellowshipped. A lot of JW's I've told this to don't believe me they say they don't disfellowship unbaptized people but back then it was 1981 they absolutely did do that to me. And then I ended up having to leave my parents house because they kicked me out and I was basically on the street pregnant and I got so sick I called one of my mother's Bible studies to come pick me up I was 7 months pregnant at the time and they said if they wouldn't have gotten me to the hospital I would have died within 24 hours I was that sick. So I did end up going back to my parents house and by the age of 17 I got an apartment and was living on my own working three jobs to support myself and my daughter because my mother wouldn't help me. However she always wanted to watch my daughter though she would say things like oh you are gone so much why don't you let me keep her for a week and I'll potty train her for you. Well the next thing was she wanted me to sign a paper so that if for some reason she couldn't get ahold of me because we didn't have cell phones back then that she would be able to get medical attention for her. Then after that it was do temporary custody and I didn't realize when I went to the attorney's office that I actually signed adoption papers! My mother basically stole my daughter from me and she's now 40 years old and I haven't seen her since she was about seven. Because I became inactive and stop going to meetings they disfellowshipped me again without my knowledge or judicial committee when I was 19. And the stories even get worse than that as time goes on but it's way too long to leave any more on the comment but I'm 55 now and no longer Associated or want anything to do with the organization. Even though at this time I am still considered a JW because I'm no longer disfellowshipped and I haven't disassociated but my family still shuns me.

I was once a regular pioneer with Jehovah's Witnesses, and I left that organization. Toxic organizations like the watchtower can do great harm to people of good faith. But I have not stopped believing in the bible. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Father of mercy and God of all consolation. 2 Corinthians chapter 1, verse 3.

A little while back an elderly jw lady was trying to “preach” to me. As I questioned her assertions she began jumping faster and faster all over the Bible. I said nothing but continued to follow her and ask the logical questions that each verse provoked. Finally in exasperation she blurted out “Whoa, you’re jumping all over the place!” It was hard to stifle a guffaw. As politely as possible I responded, “Madame, I am only following your lead.” whereupon she stopped talking. I thanked her for enlightening me anyway.

The trick is to do it with plausible deniability. Reading straight from the Bible is a good way to cover your behind, because if the Elduhs complain that you teach the Bible, people start taking notice.
I have had serious talks with the Gestapo where the first time they ordered me “don’t discuss the Bible with the friends” and the second time they said (believe it or not) “Don’t claim that God’s name is Jehovah (since it could be Yahweh).” Yes, I am banned from claiming that God’s name is Jehovah.
In one congregation I preached the true gospel from 1 Cor 15:1-4, Jesus death and resurrection, rather than the WT false gospel of “become friends with god and play with panda bears outside the house you expropriated from someone who died in Armageddon”. The congregation loved it but afterwards the elders complained. LOL

I was a JW from 85 to 92. Auxiliary pioneered, 60 hrs back then. What a mug I was. Wish someone had done this back then. I often read context, not just stated verse. But, like the brainwashed person I was, I felt bad if I questioned the governing body. I eventually faded out. Feel bad for those still falling for the nonsense.
