- The 51 biggest singles on the Hot 100 of 1958. These are the songs that charted the strongest throughout the year and are based on statistics instead of opinions. The Hot 100 wouldn't release a top 100 singles year end list until 1959, so this chart is only 51 singles.
Also, if you are wondering why some songs have very low weeks: if a song charted on the Hot 100 at all, I just included those weeks instead of the weeks it had on the Best Sellers in Stores chart because good luck coming across weekly reports from that chart. This is the only year end that is a little messed up since the Hot 100 started in August of 1958, so don't mind this year as much.
I guess I'll make this a series. I know other creators have made year end videos, but they haven't made the older years and I personally don't like the layout or the choppiness of the videos.
Oh wow new video type!
Its been a while
I love your video's ❤❤🎉
Cool video. Great idea!
Thanks for making this and I like how the format is short and sweet. I'd like to see this for each year of the Hot 100. My only qualm is why didn't you play the A sides of Don't and All I Have To Do Is Dream?
i just personally didn't, sometimes a/b sides don't chart or they didn't chart as high as the other side
@@GBOYandGrenlockXP I understand but those songs I mentioned were what the real hits were instead of the B sides imo
the b sides still sometimes were the hits or charted longer
@@GBOYandGrenlockXP Still but more people I think remember All I Have To Is Dream which is a classic than Claudette for example
