Maybe some time at the trap,skeet, and sporting clays range is in order prior to season, it helps to shoot year around.

I don't think Pheasants forever is nearly as big as DU. But if they are getting some of these farmers to put there land in PLOTS or whatever to allow more public places then they will get my donation. DU has been around forever with little to show for the money they have acquired.
Progressives ruined my PF chapter. Seems to be the case in others as well.

I live in and hunt Nebraska, seems like every year the pheasant population get worse and worse around here.
Yep, born here and this is my 45th year in the field. Hunting is the worst it's been in my lifetime. PF had to arrange some planted birds for this video. I don't have much hope for improvement either.
I hunted nebraska last year and the year before. The same area they are in, southwest. The droughts have really hurt.
The ladies are just as serious about hunting as the men, except that they are definitely not.
That's ok. Men and women don't need to be the same.
What happen to it being about nature, your dog, and the memories. Now we have to emphasize genders and make it more "equal". More people to the sport is great! However the emphasis and focus of gender will be the downfall. WORST EPISODE
In the R3 model - recruit, retain and reactivate - to keep / expand your population of hunters, you can’t ignore 51% of the population. Go yell at some clouds.
