At 4:07 forgot to mention but your level changes the multiplier of damage you do. So if your not one shotting enemies in the outer world, it’s mostly your level. This was datamined info from CTOBN again so thanks a lot to him
It might stick out more with particular passives and higher atk value gear making the weight values higher, especially since you get gear that give additional effects, where you can get things like a staff that boosts ice damage from the belega corridor superior rusted arms drops, though the rings seem to just be +3 to a specific stat equip, unlike the +6 str equip the gustaruos drops. I kinda regret I forgot to purify 3 of my 4 pieces of gear before heading to the corridor because that dragon weapon going up by nearly a 50% attack increase in base value even if its attacks get fixed to fire, would really stand out for warrior who already went from hitting around 70ish with melee attacks up to 110ish with strohl once I got him to archetype 20 and got the +20% to slash damage and 2+ growth bonus to str. The game honestly put LESS weight into level up bonuses by allocating them to ARCHETYPE level equip values AND the archetype max level growth bonus. Since most archetypes tend to spread its stats at max 20 between +2 to +8ish on all 5 stats each, which by character level 20 can make up basically half a char’s stats. Either way this means getting seeker, mage and knight to max archetype will be valuable on a demo grind early lead, for the +20 hp, +20 mp and +2 end values respectively and apparently monk you get in cathedral gives +2 agi and merchant which can take a entire day and a half to acquire will likely be +2 luck on its tier 1 lineage and it has a money booster ver of mage’s overworld passive and can also boost acquistion gains mean using them as inherits will be great when bolstering gains while dungeon loop farmings. Either way if it’s gonna affect even just 20% of your total mod value, I would say that can really show. I decided to go with a mag + end focus since this game is definitely breathing that nocturne logic where hitting weakness is more critical to nearly double your turn count. Meanwhile physical classes like warrior appear to get skills to let them do killing blows that grant extra turns. Throw in the fact mage lineage has the best overworld passive and melee attack, an AoE wide spread spammer, it’s kinda just a good idea to focus on a magic build. Anyway, I expect later dungeons to be far easier to get over 100 to even 300+ archetype exp meaning far easier to loop grind to max more archetypes. And considering you gotta juggle over a dozen followers who rank cap at 8 and are all tied to unlocking archetypes, atleast the 6 or so in the demo, with sadly only enough time to unlock 5 of them in the 3 day span, it’s gonna be fun employing the persona 5 strat of blitzkrieg the ‘palace’ in one go to maximize as many days you spend building stats and rank ups instead. Atleast since they tied bonus stat ups thru requests instead of random activities as the days past, it shouldn’t be as much of a calculus course to sweep requests, especially if they tie some additional benefits later like enabling night activities after dungeon runs and what not.
Agility impacts evasion and hit rate. Not gonna lie, Agility/Luck for Crits may be the "meta" play somewhat. Misses costing enemies 2 moves is super clutch. @@Alistair_7609According to the talking tooth, Luck is also great for multi-hit moves landing all hits, recovering from ailments on top of the crit and item drop rate. It sounds worth it to me. That and Agility.
