I first covered this song on UA-cam almost 13 years ago (!!!). It's always been one of my favorites, so I thought I'd revisit it, and officially release it across music services this time so it can exist elsewhere, too!

The very best things in life are worth the wait. Those of us who had to wait to be moms are lucky in that it’s something that’s impossible to take for granted when it finally happens. It’s human nature to take even our best and most precious blessings for granted. It’s not really a fault, it’s just something we have to remind ourselves of, often. When you wait and wait for the privilege of bringing another human into the world, it makes being a mom extremely meaningful. All mothers are special as are all children. It’s so beyond wonderful that our girl Kina gets to have this chance. God is good. ( she’s really Jesse’s girl, but… :)
I used to sing this to my daughter when she was a newborn. It’s such a special song and you sang it so beautifully! Thank you for sharing!
