I really love this controller it really is a workhorse I have the 1st version on traktor and vdj and love it literally and totally so versatile you can run 2 lines plus ur laptop plus 2 aux its just amazing and if something goes wrong with your lappy then your mixer is completely analog... just amazing, nice vid nice choice!!!
Nice effort Jake. Thank you for sharing. Indeed the position of the knobs have improved for comfortable use. There is one more difference of major importance between the MK1 and MK2. The option of choosing (another switch at the rear next to the USB in) to use PC mix (digital mix in the computer software) or Internal mix (mix in the hardware only) was left out. The MK1 could be used a pure hardware mixer for the USB audio. The MK2 does not have that workflow option any more and is only a midi controler for the channels switched to PC. Just a midi contoler. A lot of people don't know the difference, or were confused with that switch. But for those who know, it made the MK1 a unique full hybrid mixer and controller combined on all levels. The sound of a hardware mix is different from the joint PC-mix signal coming out of the soundcard. In this workflow the response of the knobs is also not depending on the software. Making the computer replace CD's, not the mixer: the MK1 has it, the MK2 doesn't.
have you figured out how to assign decks to channels? for example i like to run a 2nd macbook through an external sound card and my main macbook through the pc port. but i want deck 1 to be controlled with channel 2 and deck 2 with channel 4 (2 deck set up). it will only allow me to put deck 1 on channel 1 & deck 2 on channel 2????
I love it. so want one now I use Virtual dj with mapped key board .. make it so easier when I do internet radio… has all the features I need especially with the mic in put. great video. :-)
People don't realize the solid quality build denon uses...I've always had denon products nothing beats it's quality & proformance not even pioneer DJ..I still preffer CD mixing or turntable mixing that's being a real deal DJ...not today's sync button & away you go....that's not being a true skilled DJ....nice video 👍!

im with ya i dont use my cross fader i use channel pods to fade my music and changed our mind and went with the denon controller and we use mackie 12 and mackie subs what is with people and qsc im not rich who can afford that crap

That serato is a crap.... It doesn't work. I do not know why Denon is locked in with serato... It is very disappointing product. It doesn't work alone, It needs serato, It doesn't work without serato. I want my money back from Denon. I am so unsatisfied with this product.
To set up it is very complicated. Problem is that this Denon MC6000MK2 is locked in with serato. To set up with serato is extremely complicated. I am very frustrated trying to set up it, with no results at all. This Mixer controller looks like it is made by serato rather than made by Denon. Nobody is telling that, I figured out myself.... I hit my limits to say that. This will work only if we pay monthly fees to serato for the stupid software, otherwise it won't work at all. It is a waste of money. I am very disappointed with this product.
