- In this episode everybody we do some maintenance on the air filter on the Taylor 35 and get it all cleaned up and oiled again. Then we go out for a rip to see if the tune holds or if I got too much oil in the filter

How to easily oil a foam air filter. My 2 cents? Put it in a ziplock bag. I clean foam air filters with dish soap. Then let them air dry.
I used to as well and found that pj1 cleaner works best for cleaning and putting oil in a bag always over oiled the filters. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty.
Hi, love your vids and watching as helped me decide to stick with my own country for my new engine for my Rovan AS1 Baja. Just want to ask you, as you run both, how much difference is there between the 35 and the 40 from Taylor and which is the best value for me to buy? Also, what would you do with the stock diff? I’ve already upgraded the case to a 3 piece billet version but still standard diff inside and if the Taylor is simply gonna mutilate my diff I will upgrade before running new engine? Thanks for any help and apologies for long essay lol
Thanks bro 💪🏼 there is a huge difference between the 35 and 40GT. The 40 GT is nearly twice the money but it is well worth it. it has probably at least four times the power👍🏼 I upgraded my diff to the Taylor hex locker with Blackbone Gears with the 40. The 35 has a vertigo locker in it with stock gears. You will definitely want to upgrade your differential and your gears if you’re going with a big bore😉

Don’t you have a bebop wheelie bar if you do which one you like better the bebop or the bonehead
Yes I have both bro 👍🏼 I like the bebop because it’s more stable once you get it adjusted right. I like the bonehead because there’s not so much fabrication involved getting the wheelie bar set up correctly to pull the nice wheelies but it’s more unstable only having one wheel in the back. I’ve heard that bonehead came out with a new one that has two wheels and is supposedly a little more stable👍🏼 I hope that helps my brother😉
