@Meyers2strokeRcgarage I'm gonna order from Detroit after I'm done working. Could you recommend gear set carrier etc and wheels and tires? I'd appreciate it. It's a pretty stock rovan baja with the taylor 35 v2 reed the 1271 "extreme" carb and the 9500 rpm fs clutch they offer with it. Also running to rovan pipe. Is it worth it to grab the small block side pipe?

@worldlifediesels8268 yes it’s definitely worth getting the Taylor small block pipe or something like that 👍🏼 as far as gearing goes what size tires are you running?

The Amazon titracing 170x80, but looking for better tires those didn't do very good with the stock rovan 36

It's all stock, when I took out the stock 32 which came wirh the vesla and put my taylor 35 and tightened the 4 screws around that plate, now the clutch bell is binding and engaged

@@dermatthe2 now that you mention that I think I did have the same problem you have to use the clutch connector from the k32, the Taylor clutch fan-connector hangs up👍🏼

@@michaelbartino4225 thanks bro👍🏼 yeah I don’t know about the stock ring gear and lay shaft gear, when I blew my idler gear the first time it destroyed the lay shaft gear with it. That’s why I went with the hardened kraken ring and lay shaft gear with the Taylor idler gear.

You’ll need the hardened diff gears. I broke the stock ones on the 3rd or 4th tank of gas. The gear plate will eventually crack around the two screws closest to the front of the car. Takes a few runs but will happen.

⁠@@terrya4603you’re talking about the 4 bevel gears inside the diff? I’m going for the 50gt btw. Yours has the 71?

@@michaelbartino4225 yes. I originally had a 50gt and it cracked the sun gear in the rear diff pretty quickly. Taylor RC had the hardened ones
