Great decor, I love it! One suggestion to add a bit of dimension - move the curtain rod up closer to the ceiling. It will make the room and window area look longer. I live in a studio with 13 ft ceilings, I still had my curtains installed on the outer rim for dramatic effect 😃.

@@banet3655 I initially worked with a broker but didn't want to pay a huge broker fee. I ended up finding this place through a friend who lived in the building.

Normally I watch these tiny NYC apartment videos and question how the hell anyone can live in such a small space constantly, but this is very well done. It doesn't feel like only 300 Sq ft, it's so open and nice. I also love that while the kitchen is small, it's fully functional. Very nice.

Clean bright classy still with peices of you. I really love the space. Looks effortless and not like you jammed furniture to fit. It flows and you have everything you need. I live in Chicago i love big cities and the diversity and the energy the culture the arts. The best way to live. Your space reminds me of upscale hotel room but designed for you specifically. I love that you didn't have to compromise the size of your bed!! The curtain and bedding just airy and clean.
Displaying books with the spine hidden is genius! The color of the pages are much nicer

This space is so beautiful and practical. I love the way you decorated it and I’m so happy you were able to fit a queen size bed in here along with having a full length mirror already in the space. I definitely understand the old bathrooms because I watch a lot of NYC tours so I’m glad yours was updated. So happy for you! Look forward to seeing your channel grow 💕

Love the way you made the space feel so big and multifunctional (dining table/coffee table)! Love your Parisian simple decor and your roof top is beautiful! If I were to live in NY your way is definitely the way to go
Such a clean eye for design and the dresser/Tv stand is a great idea. The kitchen is so tiny!! I would need an extra rolling counter space if I wanted to cook! Love the window and bed area too

You did an excellent job utilizing your space, and lucked out on having a kitchen and bathroom in a separate area. It doesn't feel like a motel or hotel. The rooftop area is to die for!
My first apartment (1983) was a studio near Fordham Road in the Bronx. My rent was $257 per month! You're gonna hate me when I tell you what I got for the money. The foyer had 2 closets and a built-in bookshelf with an electrical outlet below. It was in an Art Deco style building, and had hardwood floors, a sunken livingroom, eat-in kitchen, 5×5 ft dressing room with a linen closet that I walked through, to get to the bathroom. The bathroom was spacious, and had a large clawfoot tub. I don't want to know what that place rents for now. You get a lot more bang fir the buck outside of Manhattan, but you did well for the neighborhood and style of apartment you have... with a doorman too!
Hi! Welcome to NYC! I know that you’re new here but when you’re more comfortable leaving the city (and once COVID doesn’t keep us inside) please look at NJ and Brooklyn for your next apartment, you’ll find a much bigger space for your rent price. This apartment is super cute but your $2700 will go MUCH farther. Maybe no doorman but there are plenty of safe neighborhoods to keep you and your packages safe :)

Cute apartment.m and not too cluttered. And it has a bathroom which is really nice. The only thing I would change is adding more light in the kitchen.

It's a lovely, serene space...but like so many of these studios i see with high ceilings, i would loft the bed to have more storage. That rooftop is the icing though!! Lucky girl!

How cute and tidy your apartment is,,,very small,,but for 1 person, it's very convenient,,,I like your accents how you coordinated them in same color,,,plants do alot too,,gives color and you have the brightness inside for them...you really have to organize and not do with clutter,,,very nice and clean.....
Nice job. I can't even imagine living in such a small space though. But since you're just starting out it's not bad. Suggestion, maybe move the sofa to parallel with the bed so that way you can separate the living room from the bedroom area. Or maybe an open cube shelving with baskets for storage to use as a separation between the living room and the bedroom. Another idea that I saw from several videos is a shoe storage that is narrow enough to put in your hallway under the coat rack from Ikea. This will give you more space for your closet.

Your apartment is GORGEOUS! I have a suggestion: you could change the ceiling light to something unique that represents you like so many of the other decor pieces (if your landlord allows it of course) 😊 I bet you could find something really stunning with all that ceiling height!

Four stars for realizing the couch & coffee table can also be a dining area! Where do you keep important papers or work files...or do you keep everything online?
I actually have baskets underneath and beside my desk where I store files for work, important documents, etc.

If possible, Id change the lighting in your bathroom and kitchen. The yellow hue of the existing bulbs gives both spaces a depressing feel. But the main living space is awesome. Good job.

This is so cute!! I love how you decorated the apartment. It's so crazy because I also moved to NYC 6 months ago (in October), and I moved to Chelsea as well! I live in a walk-up currently but I think I'd like to upgrade to a doorman building next time.. currently have no laundry in my building or anything haha!
