Thank you again. Beautiful rings and detailed instructions making it possible for us to duplicate. I love your tutorials. You are so kind and patient with us beginners.
Beautiful ring, I think I would have trouble making it, just being new to ring making, I have never weaved, but I may give it a try. it's really nice and a great tutorial, thank's Nicky
Hi Christina do you know Jewellerymaker has a design competition on with a 50k contract prize. You have to submit pics of one piece of jewellery by Feb 21st. Best wishes xx
Love love love. Am looking to attempt these as gifts. However, since I am truly a beginner, does it matter what type of wire I use? I would really like to use Sterling silver, white gold and/or rose gold. Is there any advantage/disadvantage to the different types of wire used? If I use copper, will it tarnish?
Would you be able to basically finish it of somehow after the part the bead was put in place? Because I think that that part on it's own would make a gorgeous ring as well.
CSLdesigns That would be absolutely gorgeous. I really like the rose ring but for me personally it's a little large because I like more delicate looking rings haha but it would be great if you would be able to figure out how to do that exactly, it would be beautiful.
Ok I tried this today and failed miserably with the weaving. The tension was not consistent and furthermore where I gripped the work with my left hand, the weaved wires would bend horribly. If I tried holding it more gently it would fall out of my hand. Help!!!
Yes, I am planning to. I have several pieces I am planning to add to my shop still, taking a little at a time. So I can only recommend to check back :-)
Your work is beautiful but your constant verbalizing is overkill. You explain and then again and then your into the possibilities of something else and i find that very confusing and distracting. Keeping it simple is better. Your accent is tough in the mix but workable if kept simple in explanations. Love your work though. Thanks
You have such an amazing way of simplifying things when you make your pieces. Now I am addicted... lol
