I have a hack about how you can keep tiktok! 1- go to settings on ur ipad or device 2- go to region 3-change it to another country like UK for example 4- and it works!
Part of me is happy because less brainrot and addiction because a lot of my friends are addicted to it but the other part realizes that there are so many american people like me who have get their income from tiktok how much they enjoy posting on there

Honestly, I don't think It's that bad, like ppl in Russia have adapted to using vpn for YT and Discord which are banned, and I didnt see that many russian YT refugees go to other platforms. Most of the russian YT creators can't use monetization since 2022 because of the sanctions, but many of them adpted to it with paid subscriptions and donation systems on 3rd party websides, and many still get sponsorships. Idk if the TikTok monetization will still be possible for american creators after the ban, but Im pretty sure most of them lived off sponsorships. Sponsorships on tt are most likely targetted towards young adults, and these ppl will likely just get used to having to turn on vpn, so they will probably continue using TT. Even If monetization wont work, there are still ways to bypass that, for example get a bank account in a different country, use it as a proxy to get monetized, and then send the money to your US bank account. In Russia you can get a Kazakhstan Mastercard for exampl, and use it on any foreighn website or while travelling, competely bypassing the sanctions, you just have to pay a small fee for withdrawing the money.
So tiktok is made from china. Fir some reason tiktok track people that are watching or doing tiktoks. USA has an plan how people can use tiktok again without getting tracked. They want to buy tiktok from china so china can't do anything like tracking. Sadly i live in Germany snd tiktok didn't got band from Germany but i can't use it anyways since it's a big no,no for my parents
