When I tell you I've never ever met a man of God that is so humble, loving, embodies the image of who Christ is. This man of God encourages, affirms and enlightens. He is such a gift in the body of Christ. We need more leaders who love and embrace others like this. He is so selfless. Oh the grace that God has given him. We need to pour into this man. He pours so much into others. His ministry shall surpass that in which others tried and failed because their hearts were not right. I'm def going to be praying for his ministry. God bless you!

I am stepping out on faith for an opportunity and this is PRECISELY what I needed to hear today. The outcome is determined by God and because it is, my qualifications, perceived capabilities, or anything else are NOT the determining factor -- HE IS! And if it doesn't work out, it's because He continues to faithfully work things out for my good. Thank you SO much for this, Preston and Nyla. Man, I need yall to pray for me. I just walked the stage last week and got my masters degree. Here I am, still, not knowing what my gift is. Sigh. I’m in the hard part right now, too tired to kick and scream anymore. I want to be like the ox and not the thoroughbred.
First, congrats on your degree. Rejoice because it is an accomplishment. I felt your heart immediately bc I can soooo relate. I received my masters in 2014, yet I still felt confused and lost. Here I am 10 years later working on writing my dissertation and am just now understanding my gift/calling. It is still a bit unclear as to how it will all unfold, but I feel so resolute in my heart bc I KNOW God led me this way. The difference between this degree and the others is that I allowed God to lead me this time.
I said all that to say, if you are unclear or unsure, it all starts with seeking God and HIS WILL for your life. He has no desire to have you confused. He wants nothing more than for you to seek Him above and beyond everything else. Ask, seek, knock….He will answer you and it will BLOW YOUR MIND.
Start with prayer and couple that with really diving into the Word. As you start to hear His voice (if you don’t already), He will make all the crooked paths straight and the path He has for you will unfold right before your eyes. I promise you. He’s waiting. Go knock!!
Not knowing…pray gods grace over every area of your life in His perfect way. Now you have to trust His way. Seek Gods way of doing things and He said all those other things will be added. Instead of believing you’re in a hard place, make it softer by believing you’re in Gods place casting all your cares on Him. Being tired, believe He’s your strength. You are about to start a brand new chapter on your journey. Just know a journey DOES NOT happen overnight But also know your journey has already been financed. Always remember when Fear is present, FAITH is not. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

He's got you. I could tell you stories of my expectations after I received a master's back in 2012 {and the bachelor's way before that). It was hard, because I didn't know what to do and had a sense of timing about what I wanted to happen. But God had a plan as well as His time frame. He won't keep you in the dark. You will know. Please keep praying and seeking Him.

I have been waiting for each Leaders Cut since I found it. Each one is perfectly timed in this season for me. Holy Spirit has been bringing me through a refining season since January and is using this channel to sharpen me. Thank you. 🙏🏻 After five years away, traveling the country as the Lord opens housing for me after escaping my abusive relationship. I’m coming back into the industry, week long for a project, and this is exactly what I needed to confirm that am qualified in that room.
When you can’t understand fully but you constantly seek his presence, his wisdom, his voice, his word and you stumble across this. This message that clarifies and solidifies the reason why you operate the way you do. This has blessed me. Thank you God for always speaking through your people to your people for your people. 🙏🏽
Wow, she is really helping me. As a black woman in the field of architecture where there are virtually hardly any black women. It has been so HARD. But the way she talks about her hard journey is very helpful. You have to rely on what God thinks about you and armour up.
Girl, may the Lord bless you. Google Norma Merrick Sklarek, who was the first black woman to be a licensed architect back in New York. She had many firsts in architecture. I pray that her story will bless you as the Lord guides you in your journey.

This was such an encouragement! When Nyla said even at 3 years old she knew that anointing was there and so big she didn’t know what to do with it, or felt afraid of it (something to that tune)….it spoke to me so deep. I feel that way at 40 still. And the Lord is constantly so generous in reminding me that I can’t out run Him. Thank you for sharing yourself with us all for the name of THE Light, Jesus! ❤

Man this message made me so tear up and rejoice!! I watched this as I was getting ready for a shoot day on set, fellow performer here 👋🏼👊🏼 Tears of joy!!! I cannot tell you how much this one hit!! As an actor in tv and film, this was an answer to prayer 🙌🏼 I started my acting career when i wasn't walking with Him so now that I've returned Home, my biggest prayer in this area has been "Lord, first do you want me in this? I Invite you in as my partner 100%". And boom, a booking came through. So now I'm praying, "Lord, continue to show me if this is where you want me and which roles to take and which ones to say no to". I've already updated my non negotiables on my online profiles so casting and producers know certain ''things'' I won't do. And Preston, that message you did on fearing the Lord (sorry can't recall the title), vs fearing man...I remember that in this. When the enemy tries to scare me with ''if you say no too much to certain opportunities, they won't want you at all...'' Pfftt!! God provides, not the world. I live to please HIM not them! There is no limitation with my King. I wrote down Nyla's questions she asks before taking a job, they're gold. Thank you, thank you, thank you! So grateful for you guys 🙏🏼❤

The importance of discipline. Am I reading His word daily? If I am, what's He saying? Do I need to listen to a sermon? Is this podcast helping me or not? I need His truth DAILY. And I need to have people in my life who want the same.
Spiritual warfare and testing is just a part of life.🤯 Sometimes I wonder why me. Why do I have to go through hard stuff but others do not. What you said about Jesus wanting you to be strong... I feel that.❤

I’m afraid because my faith is not where it needs to be. I have a HE CAN mentality and not a HE WILL mentally…or at least I’ve always felt like He will for others but not for me…I don’t know if I’m explaining that properly. I have “faith” for others and believe for others but not for me. I don’t even know of that makes any sense to anyone but me. I wish I could believe for me like I believe for others.
