I performed this for All County Chorus a few months ago, 2:02 and 2:52 have been my favorite choir moments yet and nothing has changed my mind. We've started new songs, but I doubt anything can replace this. I just loved how perfect the volume and blend was, in this recording and in my performance. Descant is very good too
This is a trip down memory lane for me as I sang this song in a choir back in my middle school days. I think the best soloist was the young man who sang the first solo. However, I realized that he backed up a bit too much from the microphone and I wasn't really able to hear him singing as well as I wished I could have. I saw the other soloists backing off the microphone too, and I just wish they were a bit closer to the microphone so they could be heard better. I thought this performance was okay, but not great, and that everyone still could be far more improved.
Hear, my cries. Can you see, my eyes? Can you hear, my cries. Can you see, my eyes? (Breath) Tell me, can you- yes you can hear, yes you can hear me! (Breath) Tell me! Can you see? (Breath) Can you hear~ (Breath) Can you hear me calling out...
I sang this in choir and still come back to it
I sang this song a few years ago. It hits different.
It really does
This is the chorus just before the solo starts if there are any other soloists who are trying to practice :) 2:56

I preformed this for my school a month ago. It is really fun to sing! Great job!
I originally listened to this so I could practice for chorus but now I’m honestly just doing it for fun.
