    That rock is almost the size of the dozer. It's just impressive for that much weight to be moved so efficiently.

    Memories for me as well..Pop had a D7E with cable lift blade, and a tree splitter blade. Had a V4 pony engine to start it... Ran it alittle when I was a kid

      Don't be sad but I still run a 4 with the LeTourneau cable system and a pull start Pony. No electronics, no hydraulics, no lights, batteries, no comfort and very little safety. I love it.

    A D11R burns about 35 gallons of fuel an hour. So that's about a little more than a half a gallon a minute. 0.5833333 gallons per minute to be exact. So times it by 2 to be simple and you get 1.166666 gallons were burned in this film approximately.

      Its awesome....the absolute raw power that this machine puts out...gotta love diesel/hydraulic power...3899 ft lbs of torque to be exact ;-)

    Cat 3508B. It's a 915 hp, 2105 CID, V8. It's not about the HP with a diesel though, it's all about the torque. This engine produces roughly 4,000 ft lbs of torque.
