c4 scares me quite a bit, is not a winner for white? 7:41 1.c4 bxc4 2.Axc4 Axc4 3.Txd6 Txd6 White has the weak light squares but is touching the weaknesses, black is creating a lot of threats first Txg6 Dxg6 Dxc4 eliminating the bishop's defender, the black queen is overload. Greetings to all :)
Yes, the opening is not great to computer standards, (it really just wants you to play QG and RL all the time), but at levels lower than the top players, it's pretty decent!
A very interesting game. If you have any other games where you are playing the Philidor against the London, please post them. It would be appreciated. Thank you.
Interesting stuff as usual in your presentations, but i noticed that you have used the word:' boring' a number of times in your videos?! So, maybe it;s time we all went over to Chess960 games...yeah...for less memorization plus prescribed moves, loads of theory, and undoubtedly more challenging games, as Fischer hoped?!
So glad you are back bro! You converted me to Phillidor a loong time ago!
@@antonnovo695 hahaha nice!

Philador is my first love in chess, great video again!
haha, not my first but definitely my current one
do you everv try or have faced this philidorish setup against the college zukertort?
yes, it's rly decent against an unprepared player
@@SLChessDevelopment if possible please post a video on you playing the philidorish set up against the Colle or Colle Zukertort.
been a long while nice to see new videos
@@NMBrayanAmaya nice to see you too
So the recipe is meet robotic London moves with robotic Philidor moves... Stockfish is unimpressed with Black's setup, by the way...

What if White plays 1. d4, Nf6 2. Nf3 ( the Delayed London) ?
@@DhrjMakj personally I play either d6 still or c5 with a benko/benoni like structure
I play ColleZ(lightbrown) and Hippo(darkbrown)

So many offensive statements. Sorry, I subscribed on another video, but now I am gone.
