Melanie Jacobson. Your books are so well thought out and so delightful. Can’t believe how you are able to deal with so many different subjects! Love ❤️ your books! Keep em coming!
I am a dancer by trade! I am somewhere in Africa but reading this audiobook, or listening to this audiobook I met him while I am somewhere he is not! Thank you for the book.
OMG l enjoyed this book so much it had a little bit of everything laughed l was sad and the baby and all the support and help hands a all around good read thank you 😊.
I'm excited to find this author; these books truly fresh and unique. That said, I think I would have enjoyed this book even more if I'd read it instead of listening to it. I think my own imagination would have brought the colorful cast of side characters to life better than this narrator did....and in particular, I don't feel like she understood who Ethan was really supposed to be. It was like she kept trying to make him a "grouchy hero", when obviously he was just a big ole cinnamon roll. Maybe the poor narration is why the author has provided these books for free here, and if so I hope this doesn't backfire on her, because I know that in my case it didn't; I will definitely be looking for more (ie: non-free) examples of her work.
1:55:45 - Poop face!!! LOL Dang I'm lovin this book so far! LOL 3:24:54 - It's kinda funny how the explanation of the 3D printer is so unnecessary now... but I was just remembering back when it was first known and talked about - how fascinating it was - lol. Kinda dates this book - lol. 5:54:59 - "Can you hear how loud I'm rolling my eyes right now?" LOL Sometimes this book is so funny! and a super cute love story. Spoiler - I'm glad the guy went away to Switzerland? for his dream job - that's more realistic that way. You know - with the talk of the Tesla - I thought - maybe this book isn't so old (I thought it was old because of the description of the 3D printer etc.) then I googled when Tesla was started - 19 years ago! LOL So yeah, maybe this book was written back when people didn't know about 3D printers - lol Dang! Time sure flies! Another thing - I love how the guy uprooted his life for her - and didn't expect her to do that for him. Sigh - such squishy good feelings I'm having right now. Awww - such a sweet little book! So cute and fun and interesting! Dang! I just noticed there were no explicit sex scenes in this book - it didn't need it! The story was just that good! This was the perfect definition of a feel good book. I'm still smiling!
POPCORN POPPING WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS GROWING UP IN PRIMARY. LEGITIMATELY, I SCREAMED WHEN SHE THOUGHT, "Was he singing about popcorn? On an apricot tree?" (3:37:00)
@@MelanieJacobsonAuthor, I have been listening to audiobooks every day for twenty two years. I catch a lot. Sometimes the book announces a certain narrator while the book cover says something else. This is a first for the title 😉
I resonate with this book in so many ways.. like working with cps and the foster care system… as well as having a special song to put my baby to sleep.. my youngest wouldn’t go to sleep unless I sang or played twinkle twinkle little star on my phone.. as I cuddled with him.. it brought back good memories.. he’s about to turn 7 and still likes to cuddle from time to time..
I hope NO ONE follows these instructions for formula, they are SO inaccurate! Should be one scoop of formula for two oz of water! ...Yikes! *edited to add that the books says one scoop per 6oz of water. I typed the correct way to do it, but didn't clarify that that's what I was doing. @56:57 is one of the times it says the drastically incorrect dilution.
I promise it's 100% correct! I copied it off a formula can, and then I just now checked on the Similac site and it says the same thing! "1 level scoop of formula (not packed down) per 2 fl oz of water. Be careful not to add too much water."
@@MelanieJacobsonAuthor, Sorry I was a bit alarmed when I typed my comment, so I didn't slow my thinking down to clarify. The one scoop per two oz is correct, that is what I was trying to tell people to use. One scoop per 6oz of water is going to starve a baby (as told in the story at least twice, once being @56:57 ).
@@MelanieJacobsonAuthor, In this audiobook, it says at time stamp @56:57 one scoop for six ounces of water. It says the exact same thing at another point but I didn't look back to see if it was before or after. @1:16:50 is a good stamp to start the second time. She puts one scoop in after filling the bottle to six oz. Sorry, not trying to be a pain, I realize how my first comment was all over the place. If by "text" you mean the book (paper form), I do not know. I am just saying that in this audio version on UA-cam at these two time stamps, at least, it says one scoop for six oz of water. I am sorry that I am not explaining it well and must be frustrating you. I also appologize that my initial comment was typed w/ immidiate alarm and I wanted to make people aware to do one scoop per two oz but I did not make that clear. I am sorry 😔
Narrator inflection was too annoying to finish listening. Voice high at the beginning of a sentence and low at the end...too bad book sounded promising
Absolutely love this book. The work relationships are amazing and definitely accurate in so many ways.

I love this so much! God, I love this. I wish these characters could come to life, and this book made into a movie 😍🥰🤩
Great book!! Loved the engineers fighting over baby! LOL

Glad you enjoyed it!
Really liked that the female was the first in her class at Ga Tech!!
Thanks for uploading it to UA-cam and for the laughs enjoyed it very much. Now I’m looking forward to your other books
That's great to hear! There are plenty of others to check out :)
Truly awwesome !!
Looks like u put a lot of efforts in researching ...

It's funny but not a big deal, I get we make mistake, but the book was announced wrong as Her First Last Dance, which changes the meaning 😉
OH M Y GOSH, how did none of us catch that? 😂😂😂

I noticed that, too! Is there a reason why no one has gone back and edited that?

This 🎧📖is so good I love it
Either the cover is wrong or the narrator read the title wrong…or maybe it’s just too early in the morning
No, you're right! It's wrong. Guess I have an email to send . . . 😁

The "Yikes" at the end was just a reoccuring thought, I see why it sounds like I am saying yikes to my correct amount of formula/water ratio.
@@amandastakeonit7402 Wait, so I put 1 scoop for SIX ounces in the text?!

Lorraina Hough, narrator.
To much baby issues not enough romance between Tessa and Ethan🙁
