I loved Fernwood 2Nite as a kid in the 70's. Watching it again, I am still laughing hysterically. Rest in peace Martin Mull (and Fred Willard) thank you for your comedic genius.
And the irony is - the approach satirised here is pretty much why times have changed. For DSM - 3 in the late 1970s, extensive "field trials" were conducted where thousands of American citizens were asked whether they though they had a "mental health problem" and if so what that problem was - thereby medicalising huge swathes of everyday life.
