PAUL VARIO FROM GOODFELLAS SHOCKING CRIME - “CHRISTIE TICK” FURNARI ALSO GUILTY OF VICIOUS ASSAULT
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 лис 2021
- Paul Vario the inspiration for the character Paulie Cicero in Goodfellas, and former mentor to Henry Hill, was once convicted for a horrendous sordid violent crime.
He wasn't the only member of Cosa Nostra to be found guilty of one the worst criminal acts around. A crime that is often thought of as against the rules of the American Mafia.
This American Mafia documentary looks at two examples where two Cosa Nostra members, Lucchese Crime Family's Paul Vario and Christopher Furnari, reached the higher echelons of the mob despite previously being convicted of this heinous crime.
Check out the truth of this Mafia myth, that goes against everything you thought you knew about Mafia history.
Uncomfortable for some but truthful ,thanks oc.
Yes ur right, uncomfortable for some, buy very truthful.
It just makes me wonder how some of these guys, hung their hat on the "Men of Honor" thing..but so many things done to just normal everyday people trying to make their way thru life..certainly were far from honorable.
Very uncomfortable
Rape should be a result of life in prison. No second chances. Just disgusting acts.
Serial Rape should result in Chemical or Physical Castration.
@@balancedactguy I agree 💯💯. The most disgusting of crimes! And you would be surprised by the culprits. Would you think the liberals, the Clinton's and Epsteins would do this to a girl? Probably not. But it is!!! They are disgusting human beings. Why did Giselle Maxwell only get 20 years? After her involvement in hundreds of disgusting crimes? Because the liberal run government buried it and are the greatest rapists in history!!! This is who runs our country. Just like these 2 pieces of shit who raped and beat those poor girls 60 years ago!!!
"And now I gotta turn my back on you"
"Well, I couldn't come to you, not after what you said. I'm... really, really sorry."
I love the fact that you're impartial when talking about the mafia. Some people love to romanticise LCN as if they were a force for good.
You are so right!
They were at one point…but like everything, a younger, arrogant generation comes and crushes that….through violence lol
@@emare7851 They've always been violent.
@@emare7851 They were never a force for good!
/Look at Sammy's channel. The hero worship he gets is insane.
My friend Margo worked at Great Bear. Paul Vario came in frequently to see the owner. Margo told me he was like unhinged animal. On the other hand she told me, DI bee was a real gentleman.
Top shelf research as always. I just wonder how many times you read those books behind you to find these obscure interesting Storys!
Your the best on UA-cam. Thanks again
Yeah I second that!!! He has really came a long way in no time at all!!!

Lol and Michael Franzese was offended by Many Saints because it paints mobsters as women abusers.
Franchise is a fraud. Every time Sammy calls him out he changes subject
Many Saints was a shit movie
Yes! As promised! Another one you absolutely nailed. You even found the old newspaper clippings. Unreal. The moral here is that nearly *all* talk of rules in the mob is rank nonsense. These men chose life in the mafia precisely because of their *contempt* for rules. After all, if they cared about rules, they wouldn't have become criminals in the first place. So the idea that they would rigorously enforce their own rules is absurd. They enforced rules when it suited them.
Some of the old articles are fascinating.
Well not exactly. It's southern Italian culture not to accept whatever gvt there was..and they had the mafia as their own gvt. Imo Luciano twisted that cultural thing to make people more loyal. Besides hundreds if not thousands did actually hold up to all the codes.
@@mikevarga6742 Most did hold up all the codes, I think. The only exception was the “don’t rat, don’t testify” thing.
@@antoinesilva1527 that's the most important one too lol.
All the other codes u don't need to do 100 percent.. but non cooperation has to be 100 percent..there's no bending that one
@@OCSHORTZ It’s insane how LCN was the least violent and vicious of all Italian Mafia branches. Ndrangheta and Camorra stuff are generally downright disturbing, to say the least.
It was ok for them to victimize anyone but if you victimized their family they kill you.
Wrong! These are family men, these men are literally sweet sweet chocolate bunnies!
@@tonyjemz777 they are romanticized. Read Donnie Brasco lots of made guys were broke as fuck and degenerate gamblers and drug addicts.
Exactly. It wasn’t my sister, daughter , girlfriend ect. and this guy has value to us. So he’s good.
@@southie3177 you’re a troll. Get a life.
@@adamirishconundrum851 literally we are talking about violent sexual assaults and you think being a gambler or a drug addict is somehow equivalent? Having vices or the disease of addiction doesn’t make you bad murder and rape do
Brilliant work Sir. If mobsters can murder their own lifelong friends, then surely it is nothing for them to rape and torture some poor girl.
That's why there is a hell.
Thanks, yet, again for your excellent videos.
Absolutely true.
The only loyalty shown is to the dollar 💵 everything else is expendable.
Paul Vario was sleeping with Henry Hills Mrs and so was Henry's other mate Tommy DeSimone.
This was also shown in the Sopranos but people love to romanticise the mafia as being the defenders of women. Yes some are honourable like Franzese but the majority are not.
Thank you Glenn
@@theclown8568 Tommy tried raping her and when Vario heard that supposedly her gave him up to Gambinos for killing Billy Bats.
Great episode! This is what surprised years back seeing just how deviant some of the guys actually were

Considering how hard it is to secure rape convictions today, even with DNA, I'm surprised any of these creeps were found guilty.
Gangsters are such hypocrites with their stupid "rules" that are broken so often that even repeating them is meaningless.
Love the news articles OC. It was great what the court was telling them how lucky they were that the crime didn't happen in Palermo. Well done OC!!

I like the ad in the newspaper $125.00 for a complete funeral

The "Quality Funeral" and caskets ad next to that article is tremendous placement!
So much for respect as you say "hypocrisy and men of honour" No drugs but it's ok 2 abuse women?? As we know they dealt drugs and now we also know just how much they abused women.... Again thank you 4 ur incite OC👍🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

Another Nice Video OC...you always come up with a nice little topic with which to entertains and educate your followers! Jolly Good Show Mate!! Wish I could toss you a few Quid!!
Thank you Mark.
Another great one OC Shortz. BTW - didn't it come that Vario may have 'forced himself' on Karen Hill, and remember when she said that the pistol whipping her neighbor got when Henry violently attacked him "kinda turned her on" and so, like an old school gumadah she turned it into a relationship afterward, while Henry was in the joint doing a stint, to get by while Henry was away AND it was also something she did to also piss Henry off because she caught him with his side piece and she knew it would sting that much more because it was Vario?
Thought you might be able to find something about that somewhere in all those excellent cosa nostra books (on your shelves behind you - some of which I also read over the years) you read and wherever you find all these facts while doing your research. Keep up the great work!
BTW - I grew up in Atlantic City/Philadelphia area and worked for Nicky Scarfo and cooperating nephew Phil Leonetti way back when. Maybe you could do a few more stories on that psychotic maniac and his rat fink nephew.
I also find it interesting how you, being from Britain, don't do a channel on the mobs of the UK - I find those guys just as fascinating. Some even more so. Later.
Brilliant video OC, I'm surprised that they moved up within the ranks of the mob, i always thought that rape would be very much frowned upon in the mob. Thanks OC for all the wonderful content you provide, and have a lovely weekend.

Never knew this thanks OC for these again 👍
Glad you found it interesting mate.
It's only bad when you do it to someone they know. Otherwise all they really care about is can the guy make us money 💰
Sam Destefano a prime example. He pulled a girl that was in a bar in a bathroom and raped her and amidst all her screams no one helped. The outfit only sent Spilotro and Sam's brother to kill him when it seemed his madness was worsening. He made them money. I even heard another version that a high ranking member was there but will refrain since I could scarcely believe it
I think the rule is don't mess with wives, girlfriends, sisters, daughters, mothers, of one of their own....come on does this surprise anyone they are sociopaths.....
Ill look forward to the more indept Paul vario video, seemed a very powerful mobster and floated under the radar as such in comparison to other High ranking capos

Great Job Mate !!! I bet these stories weren't easy to come by !!!
That's Understandable, Im Sure LCN Wouldn't want these stains On Their Image, Total Hypocrisy, If A Civilian In A Mob Run Neighborhood, Went To The Local Cheif With This Story about 2 Non Connected Kids, Terrorizing And Raping their daughters,, Like The Judge Said, They Woulda Never Got Arrested, They Woulda Been Found In The Trunk OfA Car. Thats Justice !!! Thats How You Fix Sexual Deviants...You Send Them To Hell.
Paul vario also beat a woman with a bat

@@OCSHORTZ when’s the Johnny Martorano episode coming???? They used info from FBI agent Connolly to murder informants, evade manhunts ect. They all knew and benefited.
Until they didn’t 😂☘️😂☘️
Also the FBI and Irish Mob ( WinterHill) had been working together against the Italians since at least the 60s. H Paul Rico being the main culprit. Don't tell Michael Franzese about this. According to him they never dealt drugs either.
Wow. I never listened to him but that is the biggest lie out of the pit.
I wouldn't doubt for one minute that Franzese and his father Sonny hadn't dealt in drugs early on in their Mob careers.
lolol
@@icyshack5946 It's his latest video. He would admit that Vito Genovese was involved, but nobody else. It's ludicrous. There are thousands of arrest records out there.
I saw that on his last video lol the guy is delusional if he truly thinks that
I despise rapist molesters rats people who hurt kids or old people or innocent folks,! I did time and think that the worst vile thing ever sad!
Vario was a shot caller in the federal system, and someone got ",,checked", as they say....
I think when they say "we only kill our own" their definition of their own includes anyone who participated in any criminal act or beneffitted from a mob releated crime.
E.g. if you had a garbage hauling company and you joined the garbage club you were "one of them" and therefore eligible to be killed if you annoyed them. Why you joined the gaerbage club (e.g. because you were scared not to) doesn't matter as long as you got some jobs (benefit) from the club.
I don't think I agree with their definition of "our own" but I think from the stuff I have read, that is how they see it.
We also say that as a culture we don't respect sexual abuse - "I did not have sex with that woman (but she blew me and who knows where my cigar went)" - and we don't hold teh abusers and rapists with power responsible - why would we think it would be any different in the Mob, who are after all just members of society, in the same way politicians and CEOs are just member sof society and also espouse good family values - but don't get any meaningful punishment when they do break the rules.
Power is the same everywhere, govt, church, business, the boy scouts and the mob.
Not sure why we would ever expect the mob to live up to highr standards than any other of out institutions.
As a society we don't live up to our values, why would the mob live up to theirs?
Please don't tell Michael franzese that the mobb will never do such thing
Franzese is a lying grifter. Who cares what he thinks about anything.
This is great stuff. I have wondered whether Furnari's case may have somehow strangely inspired the very opening of the Godfather -"I believe in America…" etc.
Thank you Daniel.
And there's a funeral home advertisement next to the press clipping.... Remember he was a mortician.
If the mafia had any honor these clowns would have been clipped

Great work OC. Mafia leaves out the emotional effects of their hits. All criminala have mothers, grandmas, wives, kids etc. Aren't family members"hurt." Many lives are ruined by the hits-no one gets that or cares. . Psychopaths take whatever they want- including sex.. Boy Funari looks like a devil or monster.
Thank you John
While I agree with your comments the Mafia is hardly alone in ingoring the "Collateral damage" of the actions it takes.
Governments and corporations do exactly the same thing. Many lives are ruined by wars, policy changes and work accidents. The acts maybe different but the damage to families etc is the same - and often the governmetns and corporations are causing that damage by illegal acts e.g. not putting saftey devices inplace because they are "too expensive", invading countries to capture made up chemical weapons etc.
So while I agree with what you said, the mob is hardly unique amongst our institutions in doing that stuff.
I just noticed the picture of NYC at night in your intro. I think it would be much more suitable and interesting to show a picture of a NYC with the twin towers since that was the golden era of the mob.
Two good stories!! No, not all of them were honorable. It would be like saying, that all the priests, within the Catholic Church organizations are honorable. Or that all the politicians in the U.S. are honorable. There's good and bad everywhere.
Good in the mafia ?
