That is a Creative Paradise Inc (CPI) glass mold. They have exquisitely detailed molds and they are my favorite mold maker. Hands down the best customer service as well, as I buy from their website.
Having done one piece already I can say that deciding how to layer colors is important. It would be fun to see how we can layer colors to get a desired affect. Though I loved my piece I did find that when layering glass some colors that came through were different. Could you do a very simple demonstration of color layering for desired affects. Thanks Bill B.
Great video, was worried about that slump but it came out perfectly. I have a Paragon Janus 24, which I love but am getting another kiln and I like the set up of yours, not exactly a clam shell but shallow enough to easily place things in. What is your kiln if you don't mind my asking? Thanks
Thanks! I know, it’s a very precarious placement. My kiln is a clamshell from Skutt and I love it. Skutt has been my favorite brand so far and their customer service is excellent as well!
A non-scratch scrubby usually works pretty well. Be sure to apply a fresh coat every time you cast in it to get the least amount to stick. Also dental tools for the cracks. Beyond that, acetone if you really can't get the stuck parts.
You could be very good in what you are doing. I find unusual that we have to pay you to see some firing schedules. Colour de Verre, Slumplys or Bulleyes is very happy to send us for free. You just lost a subscriber. I will make sure others know about it Bill Chavez from London UK
Thank you for sharing. I'm sad you are going, but I don't see why you feel the need to tell everyone else to avoid me? Oh well, good luck with your fusing. Yes those sources all share basic kilns schedules with you, all of the experiments I'm doing are custom programs. It's only $9 and the reality is that it helps with my studio, especially through COVID. Just trying to help home artists. There's also more value in my pattern than just kiln schedules....I am available to answer all questions and provide phone support. Bummer you will miss out on the best content yet to come!
How rude, this guy can just go. You always say that it helps you so you can produce more videos. I love all your experiments and you sharing them with us. Thank you.
So refreshing, no music no chatter, just creative juices flow8ng

I had no idea! I just purchased it from my wholesaler in town, but I do love the detail! I'll definitely check out their site for more. Thanks!
WHOA!!! Now that's a precarious slump...very cool!
I know it! I was worries it was going to fall off mid slump haha
Wow!! #1!!!

Fascinating
Would love to see how you end up putting yours on stems! I have a bunch of caps and I’m not thrilled with any of my stems so far.
Yes I sure will, what have you used? I'm planning on using copper tubing.

Love this...what do you use to scrape boron please?

@@moltenworksglassstudio you star...thanks. I've had issues with some pieces. New spray each time is good...right off to try the acetone!
are you using a vibrator to agitate the sifters ? That's very unique :)
Yes indeed! Works the best for an even layer.
What and where to purchase the vibrating too please
This is a cheap vibrator from any local adult store haha. It works the best though!
Why the quality of the image is so low? 360p max.
I'm not sure, says standard definition. I'll see if I can't upload in higher quality in the future. Thanks
