this is true. this incident was a turning point. The release of 3 militants completely broke the grip India had over Kashmir. And there were celebrations in the valley. there were actual celebrations which was covered by Indian media as if it was freedom movement and not terrorism.
Phir kya tha, Kashmir was lost. Usi samay govt. ko army bhejni chhaiye thi Kashmir mein and should have taken all means possible action. But the INC is right. BJP was supporting the VP Singh led National Front govt., it did not withdraw support.
But at least the govt. did right by revoking the article 370 and making J&K a union territory. It is part of India. Jo desh ka kanoon hai wahi J&K ka kanoon hai.
Uss time ki BJP mai or aaj ki BJP mai difference hai. At that BJP was not that effective, they were building ground for them and hence they kept supporting them. But now we are seeing relevant changes in Valley. Abrogation of Article 370 is a positive step in what's lost. Isi sab k bich Mai itne 30 saal mai jo left ne false narrative logon ke dimag mai bhr Diya hai that Kashmir belongs to only Kashmiris, isko thik krna bhot jruri hai.. I lived in that era in my young days in India. Even though I was fond of anti-Congress govt after Emergency, I must say today that the most impractical and ineffective PM ever India produced was VP Singh who not only devastated the land through Mondal Commission but also indirectly helped Kashmir to reach its anti-India position that now, after almost 50 years, another non-Congress Govt is boldly trying to correct. I never voted for Janata Dal, after that period.

In 1989 December Mufti Muhammad who was the home minister created a drama of kidnapping his daughter by terrorists and in return those blood suckers have demanded the release of 7 Pakistani terrorists. So our home minister forced our government to released those blood suckers.As soon as they got released they have started killing innocent Kashmiri Hindus. On 18 th January 1990 our beloved Farouk Abdullah resigned. Because of the bad weather Governor Jagmohan have stayed in Jammu till 21 st January. So our blood sucker terrorists killed,raped and forced Kashmiri pandits to flee from Kashmir valley. Darling do some research before posting shallow and irresponsible comments.
