When I was a kid.. Don 'The Snake' Prudhomme was the coolest and my favorite driver and the yellow Snake funny car my favorite car...Not that I did not like the others I did...I had all Hot Wheels and Monogram models and of course the yellow Snake Barracuda... and still remember making the blue spark plug wires out blue tubing for it..good days...
I met Don in the pits back in ‘85 at Raceway Park NJ, my girl was wearing a mopar t-shirt he looked at her and said “ I wish I had a mopar like that at home” we both chuckled and moved on.
As a kid of the 70's in england 🇬🇧 with drag racing parents spending most weekends at santa pod , Don prudomme was an absolute super star. I can only imagine what positivity Don sent out to teenage, mixed race americans . Dream and acheive, it seemed had all the best equipment, a beautiful wife and a handfull of proper quality sponsors.
I would’ve LOVED to have sat in on this round table! I wouldn’t say a word, but would definitely have a deer-in-the headlights look on my face lol. BTW Don is a 4X NHRA World Champion. Not 3.
How can I watch the entire show? I have MavTV and subscribe to the UA-cam channel but all I get is shorts and clips. I've contacted MavTV multiple times but they have never responded.
Hi Don 👋 This is Rick Keller ! I meet you in the mid 60's at Lion's Drag Strip by 1970 I was gone in the Army ! When I got out I wen't to work in Northridge Cali. On Bahama st. For Dick Landy DLI. Right nextdoor to you and traveled all over the road with You And Dick and you had a young man named Bobby Brent . Your Funny Car Said Army on the side of it . I will never forget those Day's and eating at Sizzler's with You Sir ! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🙏

Too bad the video was for only 4 minutes and 17 seconds long I'm sure that Round Table lasted over an hour
