    Hi Michelle, great video! I have been following you for a while and can see the transformation in your hair. I have also been using Ominira Naturals for four months and I'm achieving great results. My hair is much more managable and there is minimal shedding or breakage. I am also following Janet's regimen, not exclusively though because I don't blow dry my hair. One product that I do not have is her protein strengthening mask which I will be purchasing when she restocks. We are on this journey together! Thanks so much for sharing!

    Nothing against those who are born with or have little trouble growing long natural hair, but I’m impressed by those who do it although it’s challenging. ❤
    That shows me it can be done. Those are the superstars to me. ⭐️

    I just got my RevAir on the 16th of February (ordered on Valentine's day). I planned to start using it every two to three weeks along with low manipulation protective styles. Also, I'm aiming for length retention too although I already see good results after I used the RevAir for the first time (minimum split ends and hair thicken from keeping my hair in low protective styles over 6 months). Anyway, I was starting to get bored of the styles...Yet, now I know from watching your video that this is the key for length retention. This includes eating healthier-- becoming a full time vegetarian for health reasons. Thanks for sharing your videos. I'm with you on gaining inches (length retention).

      yay for RevAir! It's so good. I use it twice a month typically but sometimes just once a month. It's so hard to keep your hands out of your hair so protective styling helps a lot. I hope you're joining us on the protective styling challenge! (even though you've been doing it forever LOL)

    Hi Michelle. Great video. I dread doing my extra, extra fine long hair. Right now I am waiting for a special protein hair treatment to come in the mail. The next product on order will be the "tangle slayer." I believe the tangle slayer will lesson the wash day dread. The three strand twists sounds like braids to me.⚘️

    Hey! I kept checking for your new video last night. So, I was happy to see it was up, this morning! I love the idea of your new routine and I have been binging on Janet Davies videos since you mentioned her a few months ago. Both of you have gorgeous hair! As I usually do, I will be following the same general steps as you for the next three months and of course I will be following your progress! Question: How often will you be blowing your hair out each month, and with which method? Thanks mucho!

    • @FineNaturalHairandFaith
      @FineNaturalHairandFaith  2 роки тому +1

      Hey ! Yes I was super overwhelmed yesterday and bust all day
      Janet does her hair every 2-3 weeks. I don’t want to go as far as 3 so every 2 will have me blowing it out twice a month which is cool using the Revair. If you don’t have the Revair you could use the tension blow dry method in cool-warm with another dryer

      @@FineNaturalHairandFaith Thanks for your response, Michelle. I have had the Revair for two years, as of December. And, I love it. Today marks my second cycle of washing my hair twice a month. And, I will use my Revair again. Can't wait to see your new full wash day method!

    Hi Michelle, I've been using some of Janet's products for a few months now and my favorite is her leave in!
    I am planning on using the protein treatment next wash.
    Problem is I am not seeing hardly any improvement in my hair! It sheds a lot, locs when in protective styles for over a week. I've done everything collagen, vitamins, diet very good etc. I am currently seeing a holistic Dr who put me on supplements and hopefully I will see improvement. Puzzled!

    • @FineNaturalHairandFaith
      @FineNaturalHairandFaith  Рік тому +1

      ok so you have to take each issue as a separate and analyze it. Answer a few questions:
      How often are you detangling? (hair sheds at leasts 50-100 hairs a day normally). If you are detangling every 2 weeks or even once a week, it makes sense you have a lot of sheds.
      Is your hair actually shedding or is it breaking? Shed hair has a little white or clear bulb at the end. Broken hairs are shorter and so you definitely need to do a protein treatment and then make sure you have your hair balanced with moisture.
      How long are you leaving the protective style in for? Are you adding hair or using your own? I don't recommend leaving protective styles in fine hair for too long because it will loc. At least, mine does. 2 weeks is my max.
      I hope you can get to the bottom of everything.

    • @sable7114
      @sable7114 2 роки тому +1

      @@FineNaturalHairandFaith I'm going to have to check that collagen out and that protein treatment. Before the pandemic I used to part my hair from ear to ear going upward toward the top of my head and then I would use a banana clip to form a ponytail or bun in the back and then comb one side over the alopecia to try and cover the part at the hairline and in the center and then someone told me from the back I look like a child based on the way my hair was styled. The missing hair took away from the density because there's missing hair. Actually I was probably so tired last night because I was trying to figure out a way to pull all of my hair forward and then tie a bit of a headband with a scarf over the alopecia and then the part at the hairline the hair pulled to the front would cover it but I still wouldn't exactly have twists. I really need that dryer so that I can manipulate it a little more. I get lots of compliments on the head wraps but you know sometimes you just don't want to wear them all the time, what's the point in having here if you never show it?

  • @agfriends2307
    @agfriends2307 2 роки тому +1

    I’m wondering if you have noticed any damage from the RevAir not only from the device but from the manipulation to get the hair sectioned and tangle free to insert. We use it 1-2x yearly and I don’t like how I have to section and comb excessively to insert into the nozzle. Your thoughts?

    • @Michelle-Smith
      @Michelle-Smith 2 роки тому +4

      Oh no I’ve been using it for two years. You want to make sure your hair is detangled in the shower with conditioner. The. When you go ti use the dryer, if your hair is tangling that’s usually because the tension setting is too high. I rarely have to do any additional finger detangling unless my hair isn’t properly detangled when I start. Another culprit could be the size of the sections. They should be about 2 inches in width. After you slowly pull the dryer down you should be able to easily run your fingers through the section

      @@agfriends2307 ok then actually try it with higher suction and by all means finger comb! I never use a brush or comb with it. Only in the shower. Really the biggest thing is getting that detangling done in the shower. Loosely braid the sections after detangling them
