I've been wanting to switch from Fl Studio to Ableton for a while and after finding this video and your channel, I think I just might! You explain everything so well & unlike other videos that kind of overwhelm a (somewhat) beginner like me, your explaining is perfect! Thanks man 🤝
best Ableton comparison video on yt! new subscriber! ive seen other dudes simply read through the ableton website descriptions for their whole video smh. your personal expertise is seen through your video. thank you!!!
Thanks so much! Trying to add in the extra knowledge from experience and where they can be best applied to better help everyone! Appreciate the kind words!
Thanks for the comparision! I use Ableton Live Lite 11, and the max tracks are sadly only eight. I can choose 4 Audio and 4 MIDI or any other combination, but if I want to ad another track I see a popup telling me that the limit of eight tracks is reached!
Yea, I started on Live lite and that restriction can really hurt you! But honestly for you it sounds like the upgrade to intro would be the move for you
@@musicbydruyeah -it seems as the mixer part will improve. Sitting on the fence for using the holiday discount for the suit, but heard about issues with processor power. So, it’s either Ableton or Studio one 🤔
@@picoterramusic7242 I personally am not a huge fan of mixing in Ableton. Just feels weird to me. I LOVE producing in it though so if I was to pick one thing to use I would pick Ableton, but I switch between Pro Tools and Ableton for all my work. Depends on what you wanna do long term really! Both are great options!
Much thanks for sharing your experience. Looking at the product websites doesn’t give the same. Coming from the dawless world it’s all new to me i a way. Really looking forward for some new way of working 😊
Hi. Good video thanks. I am a relative musical novice although I understand music basics and play drums. I would like to produce some pieces of music and like blues, jazz and soft rock amongst others. I have bought a Launchkey 37 midi controller that looks very useful. I think standard would suit me rather than suite. Just wondering if standard has sufficient instruments etc ie lead, bass guitar, orchestral instruments etc. would appreciate your recommendation. Regards Dennis
www.ableton.com/en/live/compare-editions/ according to their website YES! The external instruments plugins is available to every version of Ableton Live!

underrated honestly
Is it possible to connect a hardware synth to Ableton intro? does intro has an external instrument plug-in?
www.ableton.com/en/live/compare-editions/
according to their website YES! The external instruments plugins is available to every version of Ableton Live!
@@musicbydru thanks, but are we sure that this is about ableton intro 11 and not just Intro 12?
@@bartgr9008 yes pretty sure, if you look at the list the things that are “new or updated in live 12” are listed that way

LOL
I got a lots of 3rd party plugins. Should I buy Standard or Suite?
If you are mainly using them then Standard would be great for you!
Does intro ableton support plugins?
yes! it supports all third party plugins. you just don't get access to as many of ableton's native plugins
@@musicbydru youre fr the goat, thanks!
