I was in my 60s before I realized that we don't get to choose ... who are parents are, whether we are male or female, what our ethnicity is, what our language is - and the list just goes on and on - so makes sense that we have to play the cards we were dealt - it is a process to adjust to that reality.
Yeah, I've figured this out some days ago.... No regrets whatsoever because, in the past you probably wouldn't be able to digest or fully appreciate and understand this wisdom. It wouldn't resonate with who you were in those days, makes sense? So, be sure that it found you exactly in the right time for your evolution 🙂

The MOST profound realization you will ever have is the day you realize you are an actor in the play of life, and that the play is NOT ABOUT YOU, is NOT FOR YOU, and has NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU,. The play was created for the audience. And you are NOT the audience. The good news is, the audience claps when an actor wakes up and realizes he's an actor and quits playing his part and enjoys the play as much as the audience. The audience is very entertained to see how the awake actor interacts with the actors who are not awake. THE PLAY IS NOT ABOUT HUMANS; IS NOT FOR HUMANS; HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HUMANS. The play was created for the audience. And humans are NOT the audience.
I agree but also disagree. Yes, its not about us and we are players of the game, acting out characters. But as a stage actor myself, I can assure you that the show is every bit as enjoyable and important from the actor's perspective as the audience's. Even as actors, we still are the audience. We still enjoy the show, both on stage and off. Some shows we want to be the audience, others the actors, some we're both, acting and watching from offstage. I honestly feel the perspective can be widened a bit more: The most profound realization is understanding that you are actor AND audience, as well as every other part of the show. The player of the game AND the observer. We are the awareness of the experience, regardless of the viewing angle. 🙂

I love this guy, but try making this speech about life being fun, in country's where the people are starving or worse, life isn't fun foe them, and it's not exciting
the happiest people I met during trips to poor countries. They smile at life like there is no tomorrow, children play with nothing, they just love life even with the with very little they own. Especially in buddhist or indhu countries. They follow that exact way of living, the only one worth following !
