The reason this won't be put on mainstream media is because it'd cause major side eye and derision, and unnecessarily so for the poor veteran... Trump said the military were suckers for getting shot and killed, he turned Arlington into a publicity circus, he's hypercritical of any military leadership, and he trash talks deceased war heroes. This is awkward as hell, and a calculated choice to not put it where people can see.

I couldn’t have said that better myself! I lost my dad very suddenly four months ago and he was in Vietnam. He always said he wished he’d been even a better father than what he was, he was the best!!! I told him in a card not long before he died that he was the best…he didn’t stay right out of high school to learn how to be a husband and father…he went to Vietnam basically as a child and learned the horrors of war fighting on the front lines. The rest of the boys who didn’t go stayed behind and learned how to be men. You all had to learn how to be men in about a minute if you wanted to live! God bless you! 🇺🇸❤️

The Department of Veterans Affairs needs to thoroughly investigated, streamlined and made effective to serve veterans. I am a 100% DV. I have had great service from the caregivers within the VA medical system. The bureaucracy however is a complete disaster. The VA needs true leadership who can eliminate the dysfunctional systems and replace them with streamlined services that are easy for the veteran to apply for and obtain. Case in point I just had oral surgery under the VA's Community Care program. It took 5 weeks for the surgeon to get authorization from Community Care to perform the surgery I needed. That's just wrong and unreasonable. There are thousands of other examples from veterans across the country.

Imagine serving in a war, enduring unimaginable hardships, witnessing the loss of friends in battle, only to return home and face condemnation for your participation in the conflict. These Vietnam veterans went through hell
The veteran awarded the former Commander in Chief of the USA armed forces "HIS" medal for recognition of the wound received fighting for freedom of our country. It is his medal that he personally earned fighting for our freedom, his choice to pass on to who he believes earned it. Thank You Dwight.
