Thanks so much for snapping me back to reality. What a lizard brain I've been.
This is a very common trap due to the external validation we as artists tend to desire. It's good to see our art appreciated but that should never be our primary motivation.

As a current student in 3D I feel like most of the current generation starting in 3D are all chasing quick and easy validation over self improvement.
    I have a lizard brain.

Its rare to see courageous people like you who actually have the humility to admit that.
I'm making a complete guide that will help you change that. Will be up on the channel within 2 days.
You've taken the first step brother, the step of realization, now all we need to do is to get out !

something im confused about as ive started recently is when i look at all the stuff people are making, it makes me want to learn that thing so at the end of the day i have a list of 10 different parts of blender which are barely related that i wanna learn , i know im still in the exploration stage where im just discovering what you can do in blender and following tutorials to get an idea of whats possible but still im not sure abt what i like the most as of now because when i complete a project or learn how to for example toon shade smth im happy abt it but in my head i still dont know like the exact thing i wanna make like you choose modeling characters, is it something that comes to you when you've explored and done a lil bit of everything? i do have some interest towards animation or anything related to games but yeah, there is also the aspect of money which i saw u mentioned the ads that you made i also started blender because of money but then once i started i found myself making random animations from the stuff i learned for fun which is the most important part ig.

Think of making money as an exchange of value the more value you provide, the more money you'll make.
A client will pay top dollar to the top artist in a specific field. Companies would hire someone who 'specializes' in product renders, instead of someone who's good at product rendering and also does a bit of everything.
If you're just starting out, you should be exploring, but once you find something that really appeals to you, that is when you should double down.
For me, when I was learning and exploring, in the back of my head, I always thought about making characters and learning anatomy.
You'll realize it too, so don't worry about it yet. Do you exploration, and do expect it to change a few times because you're starting out. You'll get there eventually 👌🏻
