Ive driven the Atlantic concept and it turns like a boat and understeers everywhere. The VGT and Bolide are massively overrated due to their poor acceleration and bad value for money. The cars id recommend are the 919 (like you said), any Formula car (you can get one in the race car pass), the Porsche Mission R and the McMurtry Speirling
