      I’m looking to buy one probably c force 800 or an 800 zforce reliability is my main concern how many miles do you guys have on your machines if you don’t mind me asking?

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  3 роки тому +1

      @@nathanhorne8795 Not a huge amount, to be honest. I don't ride a lot of road/high speed stuff for one. Secondly I ride all of my machines pretty equally so it spreads the mileage out. But I haven't had any problems and do I ride them hard. There are plenty of stories of very high mileage machines with just normal maintenance out there. Good luck with your purchase!

    It looks like I have the same model you do, a black 2018 ZForce 500. Overall it's so far been pretty reliable. Only two issues. First has been with the spark plug wire. Sometimes it doesn't get a good connection and the machine won't start, it'll just keep cranking. So wiggle the wire or pull it off and re-connect and then it starts up. Second, the little tube by the water pump started dumping all my coolant when running at high RPM for extended periods, and made the engine run hotter and hotter and it'd dump more and more coolant. I clamped the hose off and have had no issues so far.
    I really don't like the 4 point harness the 2018's came with, so good to see the newer models went with an automotive type seat belt by the looks of it.
    There are a few other things but not related to the machine itself. (where I bought mine they had a falling out with CFMoto Canada). So now I order my oil filter on line.
    Its not perfect, but it was just right at the time. (Out of the show room and with taxes for 12 or 13 thousand with the options I got, so hard to beat that price)...this is turning into an essay lol. I could go on but don't want to bore folks. I continue to post videos of my ZForce 500, if anyone wants a little insight into what it can do.

I can vouch for a few of them, but I would prefer to do it privately. Feel free to send me a Facebook message, Instagram message or email, and I will reply with some recommendations. Seeing some people saying they've had their machine for a couple of days and they're having problems (oil leaking out the motor seals, sputtering, not starting, etc.) I really really wanted a 2022 500 but I'm terrified that I buy one and it ends up right back in the shop being worked on..

      Both Polaris machines I've owned (bought brand new) had issues in the first week and year of ownership. Out of the 4 total CFMOTO machines I've purchased new, none of them have seen a shop as of yet, other than to replace an ignition switch on one. That's my own experience!

    Crazy to think my ATV is wider than the SXS! CFMOTO has definitely done a great job and has come a long way....They have bits and pieces from the best of the best. There are some parts that are not of the highest of quality though they truly do make themselves high competitive. Great review!

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  4 роки тому +1

      It's kind of baffling when you realize that the 50" models can manage side by side seating and still be comfortable, using the same space (or less in your case) than an ATV. Aside from all the pros of a 50" model, I think 60-64" is the sweet spot for my style of riding. You will get a lot of extra travel, more stability, and the ability to lift it more and use larger tires. I agree with what you said. Still room to keep improving, but they ARE. Regardless, they have proven to be more than acceptable at this point and with the rate that they are progressing, I think they will be doing big things in the near future. Thanks for checking it out man, and I appreciate the feedback.

    One of the number one things I love the most about my 500 Trail is the fuel consumption it’s almost nonexistent compared to the 800 model which is a gas guzzling machine. My biggest gripe concerning the 500 trail so far would be The squeaky brake pads which I guess could be remedied with a set of aftermarket pads at least that’s what I’m hoping for.

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  4 роки тому +2

      I've heard that about the brake pads but I haven't really experienced it. As far as the fuel consumption, I plan on doing a test and comparison, mile for mile, between the 500 and 1000.

      @GuardianGrove  4 роки тому +1

      Sorry I missed this comment! Dirt Trax was a great experience, and Luke is a pretty cool guy! Regarding the 50" machines being fun, even Luke said that he forgot how much fun the little machines are to ride. BUT, that being said, I have come to realize that the 60" ones are ideal for my type or riding, in the areas I ride most. I really don't need the "trail" models, and I would rather the extra stability, suspension travel, clearance and the potential to lift, that comes with the 60". Thanks for watching and thanks for leaving a comment!

      There are certainly 5 things I love about it, but I don't really HATE anything about it, and I find those videos a little bit click-baity, if that makes sense. There are some things I am not crazy about though, and I should do a proper, in-depth review to discuss both the good/desirable and the less desirable.

    Great video and honestly the most thing that people are unsure of is the reliability of cfmoto only cause they don't know yet. People can see what it looks like but the only thing that keeps people from buying is parts availability and the durability of them, if people only buy these units on looks only they wouldn't keep up with it, cause they look great especially the CFORCE 1000 I love the look again not sure of the durability but time will tell I guess thanks again great video keep it up

      K&N offer some parts for it. Most notably for me was an oil filter. Only cost 20 bucks or so versus the 75 it was going to cost ordering it from China...never mind the 6-8 week delivery time....took a year for the video camera that comes with the ZForces to be delivered lol.
      However, the engine has held up so far, but it is only 3 years old so time will tell if it was worth it.

    I have a steep driveway and was thinking of getting one with a snowplow. How do you think it would handle going up/down a steep concrete driveway pushing snow? Think it would have the traction in the snow and power to push it?

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  3 роки тому +1

      I still plow full time with mine and it is much better than the ATVs I've used in the past. Weight and tires are going to help with traction, not necessarily more power. So I think it's perfectly suitable using low-range. It's never felt underpowered while plowing, but can lose traction depending on how much weight I'm pushing and how loose the snow I'm driving on is. Worst case scenario, you angle your plow to one side (which most plows are designed to do), and you shouldn't have any issues.
