I should've noticed. If you watch the cutscene before Level 12 (The Evil Emperor Zug boss level) Rex's line, "Watch out! He's got an Ion Blaster!" sounds drastically different than that same line in the actual movie. The game developers at the time probably couldn't afford Wallace Shawn and so Earl Boen was probably a cheaper option. I get that but what I don't get is why they couldn't just copy and paste the audio from the movie into the game? If they had access to the clips from the movie why not the same audio?
Omg I like that, it actually makes a lot more sense than the reality lol. There’s literally no reason to believe “Al’s Space Land” exists in the Toy Story universe, even offscreen. It should’ve been a Pizza Planet level!
2:24 there is a bug here while climbing on these bars the laser cannot touch you even though the robot is still trying to harm you. I had nightmares about this situation when I was a kid.
4:23-5:42 Buzz on ziplines and through an energy shield against laser blasts in a digital alternate version of the Buzz Lightyear aisle including action figures of the Evil Emperor Zurg!
I can tell the developers really want to put Pizza Planet in the game but since Pizza Planet wasn't in the second movie they renamed it to Al's space land
They could've! Actually should've! In the second movie there no such scene of Buzz and the gang going through a construction site yet that's in the game. Plus look at all these characters that are enemies in this game that were never in the movie.
moatguy Well, I guess he was a temporary villain in the movie, being an antagonist to the real (Andy's) buzz. But he was more of that "delusional space ranger" more than anything.
The others mistake him as Andy's Buzz in the film other wise in this level he's in a buggy the worse bit is the lasers shooting at you I think it's the other buzzes in the boxes believing they are space rangers not toys
Man the arcade jump to get the LGM is super hard, i cant get onto the green crane thing, curse you n64 graphics!! Edit: i literally did the jump 10 seconds after putting my phone down, currently writting the edit atop the arcade, many thanks for the vid stranger.
