🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.o...
Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.o...
Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.
🚄 ABOUT ME
Hello everyone, I’m StarlifeStudios and my passion is to experience and video railway stations across the United Kingdom at both small and large locations, but, with an informative twist! My videos are also designed as a historical reference for the days of the past and to reminisce about the way things were. Join me as I continue to travel and be sure to let me know if you’d like me to video at your favourite or local station.
At least I know where to go see so many class 376s, and the sounds of those networkers...and some nice frieght to. Great vid
Thanks Tiger Trainz, there are 707s on weekdays so there is slightly more variety. In total, I saw 20 of 36 from the 376 fleet so there are still more! Lewisham - home of the 376 😃
The Network-SouthEast Class 465/466 ran here and they still do!!! Now the Class 376 knows how it's like
We have the same pic
Lewisham is a National Rail and Docklands Light Railway station in Lewisham, south-east London which first opened in 1849. On the National Rail network, it is 7 miles 61 chains (12.5 km) measured from London Victoria and is operated by Southeastern.
Great video mate. So many 376s out and about at Lewisham
Great vid, nice to hear the old 465s and see so many 376s
The sparks are really good here 😮
Once again, some amazing work! Thank you
3:28 Whoa! That is late for a freight train! Sheeeesh.
Smashing vid 😀
I guess we have more London stations in the pipeline
Great railway video as always mate.
The class 376 sounds completely accurate to the 378s
The class 378s are quite heavily based on the 376s
@@nathanw9770 I thought the 378s were first
@@Great_WesternTVFan No the 376s came first. They were built in 2004/2005 and the 378s were built in 2009.
@@nathanw9770 2007
I used to travel from Lower Sydenham to Charring Cross years ago when the trains where called "Slam doors" Each carriage was either an open saloon or compartment. They where painted in a racing green later blue.they where very comfortable.
Great video as always👍
Good catch
Great video!
Next video at Stratford (East London)!
Maybe! 😃
nice guess
@@PGATProductions thx
Amazing
9:03 is the Victoria Train .
From the land of the brave to the South-eastern regions of London. Epic footage of the class 376's, 465/466 and freight workings though. Looks a very busy station Lewisham. Had no idea there is a clockwise and anti clockwise workings on the line. Do you think there is much in time difference lets say to get to London?
One of my local stations, trust me it can be really busy at times and that giant junction is pretty cool
The junction has just been renewed as well so it’s much smoother. Ricky to answer your question, yes there is a huge difference. Most services here are advertised as terminating at the most important station on its loop (e.g. Sidcup or Slade Green) if the train is near the end of its loop, it will be shown as terminating at London. It’s a bit complicated so hopefully this makes sense!
@@StarlifeStudiosso which one u use the “sidcup or shade green” or Cannon Street and Charing X
Awesome
I'm excited for the next SEML Video
This New options are very cool!
Cool
Nice
465001 is in the video!
Bruh thank u for doing lewisham
I use to live in catford bridge
Wow all the stations you being I never being any stations like that looks different to me great video too
I’m always out and about! Been to do some filming today in fact 😃
Nice video!! Are there usually this many 376s at Lewisham, or is this just because you filmed at the weekend? Do any 375s/377 go here too? Also, will you be doing a trains at reading soon? Thanks!
No 375s Go To Ramsgate and Hastings and so does the 377s
Great Video
Wonderful video like and subscribed from Czech Republic 🙂👍👍👍👍🔔🇨🇿🇪🇺
Thank you so much 😃 🇬🇧
Epiccc!
Great video*
I have a cool idea to extend the Overground from new cross to Lewisham. it would run on dedicated tracks and terminate at a new bay platform
Literally not possible unless they build a new viaduct over some houses.
@@echandler5558 There is actually space in the railway right-of-way
There was actually a plan to convert the Hayes branch to either Bakerloo line or Overground operation but the department for transport didn't allow it apparently.
@@nathanw9770 This is about the line from New Cross not that Bakerloo line
Great video 👍; I have been asked to.stop filming at this station by the staff this year
Could you visit Chichester or Portsmouth?
Request: Can you do a GWR Trainspotting video
I can assure you that one is in the making 😃
@@StarlifeStudios ok
they should repaint the class 376
I’ve been there before!
Why not transfer the rest of the Class 707s from South Western Railway so that Southeastern has all 30 Class 707 “City Beam” trains.
they are
👍
Those 376s are still running?
Very much so! The toiletless expresses!
@@StarlifeStudios Toiletless? What does that mean? 😂
None of the 376s have toilets on board so you would be very unlucky if you had to go and it was running a Sevenoaks service!
@@StarlifeStudios LOL
I was just wondering how you know the time table of trains.
🤦♂️
maybe train departures app or on that screen at every station
Is there still 707’s great video by the way ⭐️
Yes but they do not operate on weekends (when this was filmed) for some reason. I’m not sure if there is a reason for this but it has been the case since they were introduced.
@@StarlifeStudios They started weekends from this weekend believe (I saw them at Lewisham this week, not the week before when I was there at the same time!)
No horns yet
None in this video but I’m quite surprised I didn’t get a face full of Class 66 horn haha! 😂 Thanks Trainspotter390.
Blackpool
This is a pretty cool station, but commuter trains are boring
I went here expecting some 707s but (for whatever reason) they only run on weekdays. There’s some freight in here as well 😃
Third
E
Class 376s are ugly 😒
I mean comparing to a class 465 or 466 it's just fine
