I like how every revelation involves someone dying or enduring irreparable damage, meanwhile one of them is just some cute couple playing with a claw machine and that somehow still leads to the protagonist getting violent ideas
Regarding the 2nd move "Essence of Ball and Chain" if you see the 2 red marker that says "More power in this direction" and "The body will spin with great force" 1st you start with level 1 of this move by keeping mastering this move you'll reach level 2 of this move where Tanimura makes his opponent fly and continue with a devastating kick at his face, that looks painful he could give him a bad case of concussion
Which is my favorite? That depends on whether you mean the situations themselves, or the moves you learn from the situations. If you're talking about the situations, the homeless man chasing the 500 yen coin was definetely the most entertaining because of how hard he tried and failed. If you mean the moves, the UFO catcher scene I find gives one of the most usefel move, mainly because of how often I use it.
"sketching keeps me from thinking about my addiction to cocaine" Tanimura's model got replaced for the remaster because his former actor had cocaine allegations that's the joke congrats
@@gaminggoddess85 that's why they're allegations. Allegations mean a claim that someone else is doing something. Doesn't mean he's actually doing it, and he could have been framed or selectively blackmailed.
He was playing with a candy toy kit and the media said the packets of sugar looked like cocaine. Not even joking. He also never got apprehended for the allegations, unlike Pierre Taki who also faced allegations, and once proven, was arrested.
Tanimura's revelations animations makes the most realistic sense ever among all character's revelations animations in my opinion. Taking out a note in order to note one's inspiration is actually doable, compared to fucking carving a tree.
I can’t believe the original Tanimura model got canned over an allegation for this to happen. I have my gripes with Japan’s laws, and this is one of them.
Is it bad that I consider the new VA for Tanimura better and more fitting for him? Something about him just... feels right. As for my favorite, I'd have to say it's the one for the homeless dude. It's really funny, if a little sad at the end, and it also has my favorite Heat Action for Tanimura. Favorite as in the one I used the most, barring Essences of Combos.
My only gripe is that his hair looks similar to Saejima & Akiyama’s. Looking like an in-between of the two. But that’s just me nitpicking, I still like everything else tbh.
It’s always bothered me how low budget and generic this character looks in this remaster. Obviously I would have preferred the original character design but It’s a shame the redesign wasn’t better.
Hold on.... That cant be Yakuza 4 remastered... The graphics look like the original Yakuza.... Tanimura doesnt even look the same as the original Yakuza 4
They changed Tanimura's design due to its original design and voice acting based on the actor Narimiya Hiroki. However, after Yakuza 4 came out in 2010, Narimiya got in trouble by using drugs. Altought he been proved to never actually using them, that's destroyed his career, and Japan is being Japan, they removed him from the remaster, even though he was innocent. This is similar how Hamura was changed in Judgment.
Well, remaster =/= remake. This isn't "Yakuza 4 Kiwami". Just a remastered port to PS4, so that you can get every main number Yakuza title on one console.
I wonder if Tanimura will make an appearance in a Judgement sequel? The only place you’ll see him again post-Yakuza 4 is Yakuza Online
No it would be wei when.😳😳😳
we can never stop hoping for his return
They would have to explain what happens to him during Yakuzs 6's events then
That would happen if the actor didn't screwed up.
